On my father's 1969 Chevy Camaro Z 28 that I had sitting in my garage now for about 10 years. Not because of finances or times, I could not locate a shop that I would trust to do these repair to the standard that I'm looking for and use to. I've always been a gearhead working with something mechanical on cars. But on my Father's car I wanted this one to be done right by professionals who I can trust to get the job done right the first time and at the standards that I'm looking for. Palm Beach COACHWORKS surpassed all of my expectations not only did they get the car done right and in a timely fashion they also kept me in the process step by step. The paint was like the car stepped back in time, my body lines on my vehicle never looked so seamless and tight. There was a small issue and if you know cars on restorations work, ie basically remaking the car there'll always be an issue. But the shop called me notify me before they move forward in any way and I made a decision. Car went in for minor front end repair from an accident; 2009 VW Jetta Wolfsburg. Came back with hood and lights all wrong. Hood seemed too long/hooded over the headlights. It appears they used non-oem, perhaps used/refurb parts. Doesn't look right. Worse, they apparently can't properly recode a car after taking battery out either. Stereo doesn't work now, which was working when I dropped it off, but of course the stereo now not working as soon as I pick it up is all just a big coincidence. What a crock. Please, whatever you do, do NOT take your vehicle here for any type of repair. They not only do a poor job, but also do not care and do not stand behind their work. My wife noticed the front end looked goofy as soon as she saw it... You're telling me their ""professionals"" (I use the term loosely) didn't notice what my accountant wife picked up on right away?! It's not even her car... Filing a complaint with Progressive Insurance, BBB and Attorney General's office as soon as I get my paperwork together with an assessment from a real shop. Probably won't matter as places like this don't really care, but my advice on this one is easy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I'll update once we get the assessment from a real shop. more
