We lived at wind river for a year and a half. The neighborhood wasn't bad. You could see children in the pool during the day so it wasn't a dangerous place to live.
A cop was living across from us so maybe that is why we never experienced noisy neighbors. All in all, the people who lived there didn't seem too bad. Plus you weren't far from Costco, Target, HEB, and a ton of restaurants and local businesses.
Now for the bad. The current manager who goes by the name of Crystal or Carey or something is really mean and very rude. I don't what her problem is. One of her employees had promised to help me move my washing machine but when I checked, she intervened. She said she wouldn't allow it because of legal reasons and potential lawsuits. It was on the day of the move, and I explained to her I don't know how I could move it without help. And she couldn't care less. ""not my problem"" she said.
A couple of weeks later I get my final bill and she took all of my deposit. In addition, I owe her $50 because I left a couple of small items behind like folding chairs that she had to dispose of. But that only accounts for half of the 112 dollars she claims I owe her.
In short, I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody as long as she is still there.
