Best

Place is great, drinks are cheap, women are beautiful, and the pool is free on Thursdays. If you want to find out what a real bartender looks like, check out Jessie. The woman ca...

Worst

As soon as they moved this place from Longpoint, it went down hill. I agree that was not the best part of town but you didn't get all those kids and bar hoppers there. It's still ...

Worst Club Ever 7/6/2007

Lookin for a brawl? Then come down to Wild West, its gauranteed by the bouncers. The bouncers and staff there are the rudest people I have ever meant, not to mention extremely unprofessional. By the way, the club is 18 and up even though its okay to lay your beer bottle everywhere, a warning to minors dont be next to one or you will be dragged out and verbally assaulted by the bouncers. If you a legl drinker dont forget you beer because if a minor picks it up your going to jail, even if you do everything the police say. My first expereince of this club will definately be my last. There are far more things to do in Houston then be at wild west letting the staff abuse power. I never once saw a smiling bartender and the bouncers were drunk old men. Ladies watch your back, the old men will definately take advantage of you. All down the strip you can find friendlier and livlier places to drink, with staff who understand respect. Not to mention its Texas there are like 10 saloons all over, this place is a hot spot for minors. Pros: Nice crowd there Cons: Rude staff more

THIS PLACE ROX!!!!!! 7/25/2005

This place is so much fun to go to. The place is always crowded all througout the week. The music is always hot and jumping and there are such a variety of people and music so it fits everyone's needs. Its a great place to go to when u want to relax and also when you want to meet a variety of people. If you come to Houston, TX don't miss out on the chance to have a good time. The only thing I wish this bar had was more restrooms and that they did more line dances. Pros: good service, pool tables, great music Cons: not enough bathrooms, not enough seating, cover charge more

Great Country Hot Spot 12/15/2004

If you are looking for a great place to go in Houston for a wonderful mix of music and a variety of people, Wild West is the place to go!! From their wonderful drink specials to the friendly service, this is the place to be on a Wednesday or Friday night! Pros: great specials, valet parking, beer well girls! more

Gone down hill 8/1/2002

As soon as they moved this place from Longpoint, it went down hill. I agree that was not the best part of town but you didn't get all those kids and bar hoppers there. It's still a decent club, just different. I was there a few weeks ago on a Wednesday, and it was full of "dancers acting like dancers"-not that that was a bad thing-just different. I'll keep going but I'll try the new country bar in Clear Lake too. Pros: Hot women Cons: trendy women more

Editorial
  • Throw on your cowboy hat, pull on those boots, and tighten the bolo tie for this swinging Texan-owned and -operated 18-and-up country dance club that occupies a cheeky faux-barn on the Richmond strip. Western revelers young and old alike guzzle longnecks then two-step and line dance under mirrored saddles in lieu of disco balls on a sizable solid oak dance floor that’s flanked by multiple bars. On weekends beauties in Texas flag bikinis and chaps dispense cheap beer while the DJ tosses a little pop and hip hop into the mix. Some of the best drink specials in town make up for the cover charge.
