I went to my uncle's wedding at this place Dec 2007. My mom was becoming intoxicated and while she was near the bar, I took a drink out of her hand, placed it back on the bar (a little bit spilled, but I did by no means slam it down), and told her she needed to stop drinking. The music in the room was very loud and my ears were ringing, so I was having to yell over it. The woman behind the bar said I needed to take it outside, and I turned to her and asked her (again, yelling OVER THE MUSIC and not screaming at her) whether it was their policy to serve intoxicated persons. She then proceeded to tell me we (ie she and I) needed to speak outside and I refused, saying I didn't work for her and didn't have to. She then walked over to my AUNT (the bride) and tattled on me! She threatened to call the police when I asked her what her problem was. I asked to see her manager and she said quite rudely, ""I AM THE BOSS!"" She then told me I had to leave or she was going to call the police. I said, all this because you won't cut off a drunk person? She then talked to my aunt and came back to me, saying that she had talked to the bartender and they would cut my mom off but ""one more outburst and I'll call the police!"" Again let me emphasize that if I was yelling, it was only over the music. I was rude to her, but rudeness is not worth calling the cops! (If anything, she would have gotten cited for serving intoxicated people!) I was not drunk. If she had simply taken the drink back and talked to me about my mother's intoxication, there would have been no problem. Instead, she threatened to call the police. UNBELIEVABLE. I could not believe how rude she was - threatening me when I did NOTHING WRONG. Do not go to this place!
Pros: pretty atmosphere
Cons: evil woman manages the bar staff, threatens to call cops if you ask to have a drunk person cut off
