I have done business with Wheat Jewelers for years, I have purchased 4 Tissot watches and custom made jewelry for myself and family, as well as having my rings cleaned when I stop by the store. The service and their jewelry are second to none in my opinion. The large selection of their custom made MSU Spartan jewelry is outstanding as well as their Custom Safari Collection jewelry. Wheat Jewelers support of the Special Olympics, MSU Sports and other worthy organizations demonstrates to me their support and care for the community. I would and do recommend them to my friends and colleagues. They are good people stop in and you will agree. more

For several years, I have had the privilege of shopping at Wheat Jewelers in Okemos for special gifts for my family and friends. There are many reasons why I choose Wheat's: If I don't have an idea for a gift, the staff are able to make appropriate suggestions. If the item is not in stock, they find what I need and order it for me. If an item needs repair, they do so in a timely manner. AND, they have the best selection of MSU jewelry in the area. I recently had some family jewelery cleaned and a repair done at Wheat jewelers. What a wonderful job they did! With me wedding 3 weeks away I plan to take my engagement ring back to have cleaned and polished before the wedding. Having previously worked for their competition I have to say they are indeed a "class act". I would recommend anyone that need work done or looking for a special piece to go to Wheat. more

With just weeks till our wedding, Wheat messed up BOTH of our wedding rings. The owner ordered mine too small, even after I called him back to confirm with them that my engagement ring was a size larger. They did a horrible job on the engraving in his ring--the letters were overlapping! When I pointed this out, they took it to the back room and visibly scratched off the engraving and did it again (poorly). I didn't notice till I got it home that there were sharp barbs now on the inside of his ring that would have cut his finger if he had put put it on like that!! I took it back again, the manager, Archie, got to me first and would not acknowledge that there was any problem, but he held onto it for Kevin Wheat, the OWNER, to look at. When I came back for the ring, they had buffed the sharp spots out (again, obvious). Kevin Wheat lied to my face!! He said that he never saw any evidence of scratching, sharp edges, etc on the ring. Come on now--someone who is supposed to be able to certify more

Both my husband and I have shopped here. My husband is the kind of person that asks about 100 questions and takes his time before buying anything of value. They have always been patient and never pressured us into buying something or steered us toward something we didn't want.They are quick when resizing or repairing jewelery too. more

My husband went to this store when they were still on Grand River. They didn't have a great selection and they were only interested in showing us their "Hearts on Fire" diamonds. I've heard that they have a great selection now, so I'd be interested in checking them out again. more

Wheat Jeweler's is an amazing jewelry store! You can park right outside, as they are not inside a large mall like a lot of jewelry stores. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a huge selection of items -- even gold dipped roses! The best part of Wheat's is their selection of Hearts on Fire diamonds -- they are the only store in the area that carries these elite diamonds. PROS: Fast, personalized service CONS: Nothing more

Wheat Jewelers is a very nice and well organized jewelery store. They have a large selection and the quality is very good. The associates have always been very helpful and informative. They are expensive. more
