Weston Road Animal Hospital

I've been with this practice for several years now and can tell you, without a doubt, the customer service here is the finest in Weston. \r \r The girls up front are GREAT! They are kind, always accommodating, and most of all compassionate. \r \r It's important to me the practice I do business with share a similar sense of urgency with the caring for my pets as I do. \r \r With the exception of Dr. Strauss & Co, I failed to experience this during our visits with the other local vets in town.\r \r Dr Strauss is good, and his staff is great, but those ladies who sit up front are extraordinary! more

Front Staff provides excellent customer service. Dr. Strauss is a very caring and detail oriented in providing the customer information about the prognosis of the patient. Very diligent in following up on results of tests and appointment schedules. Friendly Staff always follows up the next day to see how your pet is doing after procedures. Excellent groomer always has my furbabies looking so cute. Great location. I have been a client for 14 years and would never consider going to anyone else. more

After i've read some complain about dr. Strauss and his staff. I am in shock, one thing that i learned is that , every body make mistake, EVEN GOD. I've been visiting with my two princess (diva and sandy) this hospital since they were born ( 5 years ago) and i don't have any complain, all his staff are polite, deligence and very care, and dr. Strauss is always there for my princess when i need him, when i leave sandy and diva on board they make sure that they are together, i call every single day to see how they're doing , and if there is any emergency they call me to let me know what is happening ( that happened on dec.2010) I cannot believe how human beings can be so distructive because they don't have the result that they are expecting. We have to understand that our pet get ( as us) get old and some day they have to die (that's the life) about dr. Strauss prepotence and that he doesn't talk to the pets owner, that is not true, i always wait for my turn and he talk to me, he call me when i am waiting for some diagnosis, and he return my phone calls. To those people that wrote those awful things about Weston Road Animal Hospital first check and analyse inside yourself and maybe you are the kind of person that never are satisfied with anything. Please don't be so distructive you have to respect to be respected, and you will be treated the way that you treat the other people. About the high price, i invited all of you to check the price in all the clinic around Weston and near by. If you want cheppear price , please go to human society and you will be helping others. Hospital smells like smoke. Staff smells like smoke. Doctor talks about himself, does not care about the client. Prices are way high and all he does is add on way too many charges. I do not recommend this place to anyone! more

I had one bad experience before with boarding, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.\r \r My wife and I have decided to not do business with them again due in large part to our recent boarding experience. Our dog was boarded there for 2 nights. During that period of time, we were charged for flea collar(22.89), 2 baths for a 41-60lb dog(he weighs 30Ibs) at a cost of 67.20 and boarding also at the 41-60IB rate. I presume that the 30 Ib rate might be cheaper. There was also a charge for 15 dollars for a flea and tick bath. I checked the dog prior to bringing him in and did not see or feel any ticks on him what so ever. Yet, the staff saw fit to say in front of other customers that he was covered in them. I was a little embarrassed to notice the other customer looking at me after that comment.\r \r You make your own decision, but I am tired of being overcharged by them and will look at board more

I boarded my iguana there while my house was tented for termites. I visited him every day and never saw a dirty cage in the whole place. I showed up unannounced and was always brought right back! I really can't believe that a pet was left uncared for in this place, they have a great staff. more

The staff is wonderful, loving, careing and completely dedicated to the animals. At 4:00 in the morning my puppy became very ill. I called them and in five minutes I received a return call. Chiquita was treated there for three days. I went to check on her several times a day along with many phone calls. My phone rang off the hook with updates. It was as if she was the only animal in their care. Everyone was very supportive during this most difficult time. It was truly a life or death situation.
