Westergaard Kennels

I feel so lucky to live less than a mile from Westergaard, making it so convenient and at the same time so perfect. Brian is fantastic and the kennels are excellent; very clean with covered outdoor runs and air conditioned indoor sleeping/resting areas. The setting is beautiful and so well cared for. I could not really ask for more. They took very good care of our beloved collie and we will definitely use them again. Thank you Westergaard !! more

Guess the O stars people must have not gotten their way on something. Poor way to respond. We have used Kennels from Wisconsin to Texas and have been hapilly placing our dogs at Westergaards first class facility for 20+ years. We have boarded non Westergaard dogs and owned and boarded now 5 Westergaard dogs. Never seen better dogs as representtives of the breed from anywhere. Don't understand what owners lifestyle has to do with anything except for some get even idiot. All dogs, mine and their own receive best possible care and we have seen this over 20 years. We place our dogs there probably 25 times a year. Do they have rules? Of course and they should. If you don't like the rules (for their and your benefit) go somewhere else and take your chances. We drive over 30 minutes from Winston to board our dogs here. We have been using Westergaard for 10 years and are on our second generation of dogs who have come to know Westergaard as their home away from home. Highly recommend, more

This facility is impeccable and the service and acre is second to none. Whoever wrote that bad review must be a nut case or a non payer because all the local celebrities keep their animals there, and I can tell you it's the best kennel and the ONLY breeder I ever been to where the dogs aren't kept in these tiny little pens. It's like the Marriot Suites of animal boarding. BC more

I love this place. My dog will never go anywhere for boarding but here. Great value. She didn't come out of there smelling like she had been in a kennel. She's a greyhound, and when I dropped her off, the gentleman really knew the breed which made me very comfortable leaving her there. more

I've been boarding my Jack Russell Terrier at Westergaard Kennels when I travel for over 2 years now and I am very pleased with the service both she and I receive. When we arrive to drop her off, she actually runs IN the door. Their prices are less than some other places I've boarded and both Brian and Craig go out of their way to make me (and Sadie) feel comfortable about her stay. I actually HAVE recommended Westergaard Kennels to friends of mine, and they were pleased as well. more

My family has been using Craig and his business for many years...through many goldens...He and his place are nothing short of a class act...I am not sure the review I have read here is in fact legit...Does not sound like any client I have met of Craig's. more

This place may well make their dogs GAY too just like them, as they are in fact gayer than a box of raisins!!! THEY RIP YOU OFF AND OVER CHARGE FOR THEIR PUPPY MILL PUPPIES THAT ARE ON MEDS WHEN YOU GET THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SICK. more

We have been bringing our dogs to this kennel for 3 years and have been more than pleased with their care. Our dogs come home after a stay at Westergaard healthy and happy. The staff is always friendly and are happy to answer any questions. Their prices are competitive. I recommend Westergaard to anyone looking for a safe kennel location. more
