The kids are great (as usual). However, I worked for WMS and I am very concerned about the safety and well being of the children and employees as well. The majority of the time, some of the classrooms are over ratio (most of the time the infant room: the ratio is 1-4, but normally there is about 12 babies in the infant room with 2 teachers and the assistant director). The parents are paying for the school to at least follow state law, but they don't. The current director is rarely there; she is always leaving or out of town. Not to mention there is rarely anyone in the office (which is also require by law). There has been times where I yelled into the hallway (no intercom system in the building so we were told to yell down the hallway for office staff), and no answer because the assistant director was in the baby room and the director was not present. (I yelled down the hall because I had an emergency) The playground was broken for about 2-3 months so the children had to play in an open area near two parking lots where cars drove in and out. (Very hard to contain the children) The events were VERY UNORGANIZED. Nothing started when it was supposed to start and most of the people involved did not know what they were assigned to do. The director made it very obvious that she and the pastor were never on the same page, and the way they both conduct business is never professional. By far, this has actually been the worst place I have every worked and I would NEVER recommend anyone to work here nor send their child(ren) here.
