I had the worst first time experience with Waxwerks 6816 82nd St, Indianapolis… Starting from the beginning, I drop my car off on a Saturday morning to get the interior detailed. I did not hear from Waxwerks that entire day on my vehicle. So, not knowing I was under the impression they must have been busy. Fast forwarding to Monday I call because I still had not heard from them by 1pm. The guy who works the front desk answers, and he is not sure if my truck is done that they had since Saturday. Finally he gets back on the phone, and tells me that it’s done and was done on Saturday. He goes on to say, we called and left a message. I respond you did not call my phone nor did you leave a message for me. He tells me he is absolutely sure he did, so I ask him my telephone number. The number that he gives me is not the number that I personally wrote down on their form. Then, I go and pick up my truck only to find that there are still chips, crumbs and food still on my seats where the seatbelts are… I left up my seat and the carpet still had crumbs on the floor. At that point, I am trying to figure out how they accomplished shampooing the carpet and there are still crumbs on the floor. I go back in and talk with the guy at the desk and he proceeds to tell me that they did their job, so I invite him to come take a look. He tells me to just pull it in to their bay and there is someone there that will be able to take care of it for me. After, getting almost the entire truck vacuumed again I get ready to leave. Then, I notice my gas tank is on empty. So, I ask about that and I am told that THEY LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE RUNNING WITH YOUR HEAT ON UNTIL THE INSIDE OF YOUR VEHICLE IS DRY. I go back in to the front desk and once again he proceeds to act as if it was something I did, he tells me that I didn’t have any gas in it when I dropped it off. He tells me that they had to put $5 in my truck to drive it out of their bay… So what he just told me was they left my truck running until it ran out of gas. Which, when I dropped my truck off my tank was above the quarter mark, but a little below the half mark. In light of my blood pressure rising, and the fact that I was on my lunch break from work I left. I would not recommend this place to anybody. The customer service is horrible and the quality of work is bad. Completely unprofessional and incompetent. Also, he proceeds to tell me about all the basketball stars who bring their cars to him. more

The guys at Waxwerks are great! We did an automatic car starter. I like that they did not upsell me as much as they probably could have. After I got the car starter, I found that I could not use my key fob. When I went back to them they said they could have charged me more to get it fixed, but they knew I had only come in for the car starter. This was my first time using them, and I would definitely use them again. more

I have been going to Waxwerks for a couple of years now, and they have done multiple jobs for me. They've done window tinting and installed bars on my truck, and most recently they replaced a windshield for me. The people there are very friendly, though because they're always busy, sometimes it takes a while to get someone to talk to. I like that they are very knowledgeable, courteous, and get the work done on time. I will continue to use their service, and would highly recommend them. more

I had a good experience with Waxwerk, though I was not completely satisfied with their work. I had them fix a chip in my windshield for me. They said that after a couple of days it would disappear, but you can still see the chip in the windshield. I'm not sure if they filled it properly, but it is still very noticeable. more

The experience was pretty good with Waxwerk. However they were a little rushed when I came to pick up my car. I wish they presented a little more instructions. more

I received a remote start gift card for my car during the holidays for Waxwerks. It was my first time and everything went smooth and quickly. The staff was also nice and it was a great experience! more

I was also lied to about price. If you go here get a written estimate first. I was told one price and when I went to pick up my car the price doubled and all they said I was misunderstood. LIARS !!!! more

Going to Waxwerks was actually a random stop by. I wanted to tint all the windows on my truck. They got me right in, and they did what they said they would do. It looks good! I am very happy! more

Waxwerks did an interior and exterior detail on the windows and also a remote starter. The customer service was pretty professional, but they could use some training on how you speak with the customer. But there were no problems with the car. For the most part, the work was done to a high standard. more

I took my vehicle in for a complete interior detail. When I picked my vehicle up it still smelled like it did when I dropped it off. Not even any fresh scent,or clean smell at all. I could specifically smell vomit coming out of the seat cushions,and the back of the drives seat still had discolored debris on it,which I later wiped of with a wet ones wipe. After looking me in the eye,and saying he can't smell anything,I pretty much demanded a discount. They were going to try and charge $267.95 after taxes,then removed environmental fees which discounted $107. I still paid $160 for basically nothing. I will never go back,and If I would've read the reviews like I normally do,I would have never gone here. Along with poor service,they are very unprofessional in both appearance,and in communications. more

Waxwerks made everything really easy. A few weeks ago, I just my car off in the morning, and they had all of my windows tinted and ready to go by 1:00 PM the same day. My experience didn't require too much interaction with the workers since dropping it off took only five minutes, and when I picked it up, they gave me the instructions and that was it. It was a great experience overall. more

I've been using Waxwerks for five years, and I can describe them in one word - phenomenal! They are very good with scheduling, getting you in and out. They have very friendly staff, and they are hilarious. They keep you entertained, and they do excellent work! They are extremely knowledgeable, not only about tinting, but audio equipment too. I'm looking at purchasing a car, and I talked to them about putting in a DVD touchscreen. They went out of their way to get more information about how I can get what I want into this collector car. They are extremely knowledgeable, and they are willing to work with you. I would highly recommend them! Don't go anywhere else! more
