The Boss is a Joke! 1/13/2015

The woman that runs this place, Gail, is rude, not only to her customers but also to her employees. She hires cosmotologist and they end up being her grunt workers. You feel like she wants to herd you in and out as quickly as possible by having them do all the hard work for her. She needs to learn how to treat people and her employees, instead of holding them back by making them do her work for her, let them work on clients also. As you can tell my experience there was awful and I will never go back!! more

Never to Return 1/5/2011

I had a horrible experience at Wavelengths. I got a haircut and highlights and was left with a wet head and was told I could blow dry my hair myself. The only positive part about my experience was the girl who washed my hair. She did a very good job. When Gail, the owner and 3 other girls did my highlights all at once, it was as if they were in a Nascar race. They were doing my highlights so quickly which was not relaxing for me. In addition to them being in a hurry, I had to hold the stack of foils and hand them to the girl when she was ready to use it. When I am paying over $100 to get my hair done, I don't want to be assisting in the job. I was told after the highlights were done that it would cost extra for her to blow dry my hair, but I was welcome to use the blow dryer myself. That was rude in itself. If I wanted to blow dry my hair myself, I would not have spent $100 plus dollars and I would have stayed home and done it myself. I would not recommend Wave Lengths as it was not more

The Best Hands Down! 3/12/2009

I started going to Wavelengths last July after another stylist completely messed up my hair trying to highlight it. I see Gail, the owner, and she is magnificent! But I would feel comfortable seeing any stylist there. My husband and daughters also get their hair done there by two other people. The thing I love most about Mrs. Gail is that she is 100% focused on you when she's with you. She will not even speak to another client while standing at your chair. She makes sure before she does anything that she knows what you want. Highlighting could not be done better ANYWHERE else in this entire state! If so, I'd have to see it to believe it. The prices are high compared to other salons. But as someone who has been through the loop, I'm telling you, it's worth every penny! They make you feel like a VIP guest when you walk in the door. And to the people who say they don't like Wavelengths, I have this to say: "If you can't be satisfied there, it's likely you won't be satisfied anywhere!" Wav more

BEST Hair Salon 6/29/2008

I have been going to Wave Lengths for years now and I will never go to another salon. I trust the people there to do a great job every time, and they have never disappointed me. The people there are very nice and professional and always do their best. When they wash your hair, they give you a scalp and neck massage and they also offer cappuccinos. Some people say it is expensive, but I say it is well worth it. more

price cost very high and no wonders in cutting 11/27/2007

This place is very expensive, and no wonders in hair cutting.I have been once and spend a good amount of money. But not satisfied at all. They hardly spend time on my hair cutting but surely did on styling. Style did not goes for long. U need to be sure that hair should cuts in style and remain in style weather u are using dryer or not.Surely they do have a nice atmosphere. But not worth with the price cost. more

WAVE LENGTHS 10/21/2007

I have been going to this hair salon for years. I am very satisfied with the color and styles that I have gotten. They also have a massage therapist if you like that. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Their prices are high, but I am very satisfied with the lady that does my hair. I would highly recommend using any of the stylist there. more

Best Salon in Jackson or MS for that matter 9/16/2005

Wave Lengths is the best hair salon I have ever been to. For years even though we moved out of town, I would travel back once a month or so to get a good haircut. They will work you in and you do not have to wait weeks or months for a haircut like at some salons. If you call and want in, you usually can get in. They have great colorists and hair stylists. They are expensive, but only the best stylists work there. Many of them have been specially trained and go to New York, etc. for training. This is an AMAZING salon. PROS: Best cuts/foils in the state CONS: Very pricey more
