Great Art Starts Here 9/30/2007

I had the best experience getting my 6th tattoo....Nathan freehanded an addtion to my lower back. It has healed and appears to have been made all at once. Great artist are hard to find. Thanks! more

Had a tattoo done here not long ago, A lot of the color came out and they had the audacity to want to charge me for a touch-up. Very unprofessional. Their work is sub standard to say the least. Id go to someone else. I should of looked at their website. Typical flash tattoo shop. If you want a one of a kind custom tattoo that is not off the wall,.........go elsewhere. I will next time. Best Service, Most Professional Work Around - All Around GREAT Shop!! 5/22/2007

I have been going to Warlocks for years, and only have the absolute best things to say about it! Before choosing Warlocks, I visited several different locals shops and was disappointed at the lack of information and flash designs. Then I walked into Warlocks, and knew that I had achieved the goal of Tattoo and Piercing Heaven...\r \r The artists are by FAR the most incredible I have ever seen, and I am proud to bear their works of art (including ink and holes). Warlocks ha become a home away from home - and always holds my top recommendation. If you want a cheap, genaric tatto that gets slapped on straight from someone's coloring book - it probably isn't for you... but if you are looking for unique, truly professional work of art - this would be the best of the best! Pros: Number of talented artists, overall artistic skills, selection, availability, price, EXTREMELY Clean (I'd Eat off the Floors!) Cons: Absolutely NONE.... more

If you're wanting to get a tattoo, Warlock's is the place for you! Great customer service right when I walked in the door. They had so many pictures to look at. I showed the artist a couple of drawings that I liked and he took my ideas and drew up something similar, but totally unique. I got an awesome tattoo for an awesome price! Cleanest tattoo shop I have been to in Raleigh, friendly employees, and decently priced. I had Byron do a tattoo for me (the back of the neck) and he made it seem very painless with his jokes and personality. I highly recommend you check them out for your next tattoo or piercing. I strongly recomend that you choose to have a tattoo done at this location, Their staff is extremely talented and willing to satisfy the costumer. From personal experience as well as looking at other very eligante pieces of work done, by the talented artist that are willing to share their talents with you. I can 99.9% promise you that you will be very pleased with your decision if you choose to experience their artistic abilities. Best tattoo shop in the Triangle 5/20/2007

I have been impressed w/Warlock's every time I have been there! I've been going there since they were in the old building. I love the shop now. It is bright and clean. The staff is informative and friendly. They love joking around and having a good time, just helps put me at ease for each piercing and tattoo I have ever gotten from there! I highly recommend them! Best Tattoo shop in the Triangle! 5/20/2007

I highly recommend everyone interested in getting a tattoo or piercing to head to Warlocks in Raleigh and check them out! I have received 5 of my 6 tattoos and all my piercings from Warlocks. My tattoos all look spectacular...(thank you Byron!) The artists are super nice, friendly, willing to help you figure out what looks good and the placement. They are all very professional, the shop is clean, and offers a very welcoming attitude and atmosphere. Warlocks is a cut above the rest! more

Great Location & Service 5/20/2007

I truly enjoyed my 1st visit to Warlock's. The associates were knowledgeable and sincere. The cleanliness of the shop was astounding. I did not know what to expect. Typical flash shop, not in the least!\r I had no problem w/assistance on the tattoo nor on the piercing side. Seeing employees walking around, talking w/clients and attending to their needs is comforting. I will go back! Pros: cleanliness, attentiveness, could go on & on Cons: busy, but not necessarily a con , shows people are repeats and respect the wk done more

Better than expected 5/20/2007

I've been to Warlocks before with friends to get tattoos but this was the first time I got a tattoo there. I went last night to get it but because they were busier than usual, I had to go back today to get it. Rosie apologized last night for not being able to do it then but it was more than okay. I thought that getting the tattoo would hurt a lot more than it actuall did but Byron was incredible. He was very personal while I was getting it and made sure I knew what to do afterwards. I will definitely go back for my next tattoo! Pros: Service, Atmosphere Cons: We're talking needles here! Come on! more

Great Tattoo Artists 5/20/2007

I have gotten several tattoos by different artists. They all do a good job, and they are a lot of fun to conversate with while you are getting your tattoos. They have a large, clean environment with a lot of tattoo drawings to pick from, if you don't already know what you want. I brought a picture of my dog whom I had put to sleep, and Ernie did a terrific job of my ""memorial"" tattoo. They have a good location and good hours. I highly recommend Warlocks! more

I got my first tattoo in NC at Blue Flame,and was not happy with the experience to say the least. I went to Bill Claydons in Fayetteville and was even more turned off. I went with my wife to Warlocks and was approached by Rosie & Raven.They where informative and caring,I was hooked up with Ernie and I talked with him and left some artwork with him. I recieved a beautiful piece of art that I love to show off,my wife can hardley keep my shirt on me these days. A place like no other..awesome staff! 5/17/2007

In going in for my first experience with piercing, I had no idea what to expect. Would it hurt? Would it look right? The associate taking care of me put all that to rest. Crissie is an adorable person with an irresistable attitude towards her job. She, like all of the employees here are a valuable asset to the business. Highly recommended to all first-timers or even those more seasoned. Pros: Lots to offer..great staff Cons: None to speak of more

this is the only place i feel like they won't let me walk out with something i will hate later in life. i am commented to daily on the work i have had done in this shop. i won't go to any else to get my piercings or tattoos. more

Something for Everyone! 5/15/2007

I went to Warlocks not long ago for the first time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and someone was available for all of my questions. There was a ton of flash on the wall, but I already knew what I wanted. I talked with Greg and not only did he draw me a custom piece, but he drew it right onto my skin! I had never had that happen before. The tattoo was better than I could have ever hoped for, and I will be back for many more! Also, while I got tattooed, my friend got a killer monroe piercing from Autumn. Everyone that I meet will know what a great shop this is!!! Pros: Too many to list. I am definitely impressed! more

bad service=bad work=bad idea 5/11/2007

i went to get my first tattoo and it will be my last. The service was terrible. Seemed uninterested in helping me out. when someone finally did, the tattoo looked nothing like it was supposed to. Did they pay to be voted best shop in 2006 on citysearch? Its a nice looking shop but the workmanship is bad. I definately would go somewhere else. Pros: ???
