It amazes me how this guy still has a job. We had to see him out of desperation because Dr. Fox had no openings today. Our appointment was at 11 and we had to wait an hour to see him. He walked in the room acting like he was annoyed he had to be there. He has no bedside manner what so ever. He is a pompous ass and tries to be rude. Just being in his presence makes you feel like something about this guy is off and I get really bad vibes. more

would not recommend 8/9/2006

Dr. Walvisch misdiagnosed my daughter's RSV when she was 2 years old. He sent us home with Dimetapp. Because of complications, she nearly died. We had only seen him because our pediatrician at the time was not in. I still wish that we had never made that appointment. He has no bedside manner, and is a poor doctor in my opinion. more

This is one Pediatrician in Mt. Pleasant that I would not recommend... He has made many mistakes on my children with diagnosis and also on friends and relatives children.... He does not listen to his patients well and I have heard many complaints on him as a physician... In fact, so many that many of my friends left his office when Mike Fillenworth left his office. One child I know is now mentally and physically retarted due to him not acting more promptly on the child being ill.... I just wanted to let you all know that this is not a good physician... he is only there for hospital politics... not for his patients more
