Editorial review from Citysearch 6/18/2012

Brought home a screw from the road in my back tire - my neighbor changed it for the spare the next day. Went to Huber Heights Wal-Mart since we have road insurance on all 4 tires which we bought from them. They changed out the tire and only aligned that one tire (how much sense does that make?) and tried to charge me some hidden costs. The sales rep, who was supposed to go home but stayed with me, got the charge down but it was still charging me when it's supposed to be free. He called someone that can fix it 3 times but they never came. Finally he asked for the manager and even though he took a while, he did come. When he came, he did not apologize for the long wait or acknowledged I was there. I made a comment that I thought they all went home because I've been waiting here so long, but he never looked at me or anything the whole time! I would give this a higher rating since the sales rep waited with me but after I was done shopping and I went to load my van, I saw that they put the spare tire in my trunk instead of where it's supposed to go! They were closed now! Now, I had to put my groceries with my kids and I had to drive home with the tire rolling around in the back of my van! And the tire light on! Horrible!!!! more

This Walmart has forgotten what Customer Service is. 3/23/2011

March 23, 2011 There were two technicians on call this morning there in Walmart, tasked with the super hard job of changing oil and changing flats. One was actually working. The other was watching the other one work the entire time. I got there at 9 they quoted me 40 minutes. I left at 11. I had to go get one of the store managers, because there was no supervisor in the Automotive department. He went back to check on the issue, even checked in with me a couple times still apologizing for his people. Funny thing, I ask him, so theres two technicians on back here right like you told me, He says yes. Im say, can you see two right now? He says no the other one might be on break. I say, or hes hiding behind that island right there where no one can see him doing nothing. Not 30 seconds later, he comes walking out from behind that same island........ This on top of the constant lack of cashiers, no friendly service anywhere in the store, makes almost any visit to this Walmart a thing to dread. more
