Walk-In Medical Clinic

I've seen this doctor several times, usually for strep throat or sinus infections. The doc is very attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough. I get plenty of time to talk to him and get all of my questions answered. You don't need an appointment so it's much faster and easier to get in and be seen than it is by my regular physician. Also, this clinic's price is very reasonable compared to other physicians and clinics in the area. Overall, excellent care and great service for a good price. more

The receptionist was very rude and condescending. All I needed was a physical. The price on their website quoted $35 dollars and when I went there all over a sudden it was $50. I wouldn't have had a problem with the higher charge except that when I went in there a day before just trying to see if they would do my physical they didn't say anything about a higher price. Both the doctor and his receptrionist didn't even remember that I was in there a day before, and when I came back the paperwork they made copies of on my first visit were suddenly not good enough. I had never been so insulted in my life. Like I would have any reason to lie about my history to people I don't even know! I'm never going back there again and I would not recommend it if you have any other choice. The staff (assistant and Dr. Skinner) were very attentive, professional, and courteous. I got in right away, literally. Did not feel rushed, and feel like I received excellent care. I would definitely recommend. Pros: Perfect in every way Cons: N/A more

I was impressed! The doctor was very personable and took the time to listen to all my questions. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes before being seen, and you can't beat the price. $35.00 is cheaper than my insurance co-pay! I'll go back again anytime rather than try to get an appointment with my doctor for a cold, minor problem, etc. Pros: Lots of parking and it is by the Independence Center, so I got to shop after seeing the doctor! Cons: If you want a scheduled time they just take walk ins, but I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes. more
