On December 4, 2009, I took my beautiful kitty to get her groomed, with sedation to reduce the stress. I had some errands to run, and while doing so, I received a call from Dr. Grist that she had died. I was in absolute shock! She was only six years old, and this was just a routine grooming. When my husband and I arrived back at the vet's office, Dr. Grist told me that my kitty was in her carrier and they had administered a drug to relax her. Then she and Dr. Bradley heard her fall over. First of all that's impossible, as the carrier is a soft sided one with a pad on the bottom. I wanted an answer as to how this could have happened, and the only answer I ever received was, "Things like this just happen sometimes". Someone should have been with her and monitoring her vitals, such as heart rate and breathing!!
