Hi. I was injured at my job. The injury I sustained was to my back that resulted in three back surgeries and four fused discs. The work comp. company sent me to vocamotive for job retraining to which I envisioned in my mind a new career. But after a week there I envisioned it wrong. They have you learn typing even if you already know how. They have you learn microsoft to which when you take a test and you miss let say seven answers, they print out the test for you and it shows the answers you got wrong and gives you the right answer. They let you keep it for the retest to pass it pretty much cheating. Then they send you to receptionist jobs where you have no clue how to do, then say your certified in microsoft which is a joke. You learn nothing it's a money gimmick also they have people who can't even read try to learn typing and microsoft it's a joke. Then when you so call pass that stuff they have go to job training or college if your brillant if not your stuck looking for any job walmart anywhere and they send you to jobs that are over your restrictions and if you don't go or argue about it they document it and send to the workcomp basically to start the process of shutting your ttd or ptd checks off from paying you they document everything even if your kidding around they try to smear your charactor and try to say your lazy anything that's not true about you. Basically what I'm saying is they work for worker comp. period you don't have a chance there. Have you ever seen the show intervention on A&E where they send the addicts to rehab when they are guilty for being addicts. Well vocamotive treats you like you are guilty and threatens you all the time if you don't do whatever it is they tell you to do and they will recommend they cut your pay off from worker comp. We are the ones that got injured at our job, we never tried to get injured nor cheat our jobs. We are guilty of nothing other than we are looking to live the rest of our lives with restrictions. We can't go back to our former profession that some of us loved to do and some of us that's all we knew how to do. I only saw middle class workers there. There are some who cheat the system which is true but if nurses and doctors and surgeons and lawyers believe the ones that are truly injured and treat us and perform surgerys on us and take us a clients then aren't those people professionals? Well that's not go enough for vocamotive because they are out to prove all those professionals wrong. You could have worked a job for ten twenty thirty years and they will treat you as if your lazy and they say at your first appointment that they will never have do something you don't want to which you find out quickly that's false. The amount of unecessary paper work they have you fill out there is mind boggling. They watch like a hawk there and they tell you the things you will do for college and a job and if your ok with it the next day they change it, and if your ok with that they change it again and again to where you not ok with there college or job suggestion. That's what they do to tear you down as a person, vocamotive is awful a horrible place to be sent to it's liken to prison. The state and the industral commission and other agencies should investagate it. Please someone if you are in place of importance or you know someone of importance please look in to this matter, interview people who were sent there, I am also available to interview .
