Cute place for casual dining 1/27/2004

I never crave Itallian food but when I did, we finally ran to Vinny's to try it out. Not bad at all. The salads that came with the meal were light and fresh. The Chicken parm was good and overall the prices for the portion was pretty great. Vinny's is worth a try. Pros: neat cafe atmosphere, inexpensive Cons: , limited wine list more

Pretty good 7/27/2003

This place was jam packed on valentines day, and we showed up and were seated in 5 minutes. The service was fast, but they hardly ever checked up on us. The prices are high for the portions, and the quality of the food. The parking lot is a little small, and can provide hard access. This place would be good if they added more zing to their food. Hard to swallow 1/2/2003

I bragged about Vinny's Cafe to some friends until the agreeded to have lunch. Oh, I said they have a wonderful Spinch Lasagna....It's a great place to eat. We get there I order my favorite dish..what happens the waitress say..Oh we only have that on our dinner menu. All my friends explained to her that I was the reason for them all being there and if Vinny's could make an exception. She left then returns and say's.. when I told the manager, she just looked at me. No action was taken, the manager didn't even go to our table. How is that for customer service.... I will never take friends there again. I was the one in the group that had to settle, I didn't even finish my food. more

not that impressed 10/14/2002

the italian food was only decent and the service was lacking too. the waiter never checked on us as we were dining and seemed to not even care about his job. our food was barely even warm and they did a sloppy job of chopping the tomatoes up for my pasta (big chunks i could have choked on). overall, i was less than impressed. Pros: inexpensive italian, quick seating, not crowded Cons: bland food, poor service, bad decor more

Nice Italian Restaurant 7/26/2002

I like this restaurant because it's a very good Italian restaurant without being to loud or pretentious. Their menu offers items that are just a little different than other Italian restaurants, but they also have basic fettucine, spaghetti, and lasagne. I recommend the manicotti with chicken or the manicotti combo. A lot of their entrees come with a side of broccoli that is perfectly cooked (not limp or overcooked). I always look forward to it. I am also a big fan of their bread and olive oil as well as their salad. On a recent visit their iced tea was even remarkably good. Pros: nice atmosphere, good location, lots of parking more
