If you are choosing Vinnie's as #1 you have not eaten at Sullivan's. Vinnies Steaks are bland and don't have a good tast. If you have a taste for a great steak Try Sullivan's filet. You will not be sorry. Vinnie's is ok but not #1 more

Not the best yet 12/19/2002

The shrimp were awesome, but the steak was full of fat and greasy. Not as good as I expected. Pros: excellent shrimp, good service, nice private room Cons: expensive, steak fatty, food greasy more

Whack! 12/3/2002

At Vinnie's you may get whacked unless you're carrying a fully loaded wallet and a million dollar smile. This is not the place to go unless you are truly into the see and be seen kinda thing. The steaks are no better than Lone Star Steak House, the service is truly terrible, and the wait for a mediocre meal is extremely long. Do yourself a favor for upscale dining and try another place. Pros: ain't Golden Corral, Guido was there Cons: poor service, crowded, average food more

Loyal Patrons 9/4/2002

Vinnie's has been me and my husbands favorite restaurant since we moved to Raleigh 6 years ago - we are there almost every Tuesday evening. Over the past few months, since the new owner, we have seen the service, atmosphere, and food become even better. We continue to be loyal patrons. more

Great Group Gathering 9/4/2002

I attended a group event, held in one of Vinnie's event rooms. We had a fairly large group and we were so impressed with the excellent service we received. All of the food was cooked perfectly! We will gather there again. more
