Villa Maria apartments physically aren't too bad. They are a little old, but have recently been updated (some of them). They are relatively close to BYU and also to a gas station and grocery store. The management though is terrible. We had lived there for a year and then wanted one extra month on our contract while we waited for some things to play out. But they refused -- they wouldn't even discuss it. And then the apartment sat empty for the next year. When we moved out, they charged us (from our deposit) for some vague cleaning problem. A very bad apartment experience.
