El Burrito es Muy Bueno! 3/8/2008

Why is Vic's the best? Start with the burrito in the green sauce, then try the huevos rancheros, and later have the relleno and eggs special. (Warning: do this on three different visits, otherwise you will surely explode!) You will then begin to understand why Vic's is not to be missed. The green sauce is not oppressively spicy, and the flavor is rich and full. But once you talk to Vic and the people who work there, you really understand why his place is the best in ABQ for breakfast. \r My only complaint is that he will not open up a ""Vic's"" in Atlanta! Pros: Your breakfast lasts you all day, great service Cons: What cons? more

Grew up eating this food 6/14/2007

This restaurant used to be Andy?s, which had two locations in ABQ. The two locations shut down about eight years ago and then the owner?s son opened up Vic's. The location is a little out of the way for most people but it's definitely worth it. Their green chile sauce is the best I?ve ever had. Can't go wrong with Juevos Rancheros or, if you're feeling like a glutton, the Patates, which is a big plate of potatoes cooked the way you want smothered with cheese and chile. \r The service is quick and friendly.\r I love it.\r Pros: Great food, great service, worth waiting for Cons: parking, may have to wait in line more

Great breakfast! 11/26/2006

Tried Vic's for the first time today. My family has a wide range of tastes--some low-carb, one vegetarian, a picky 3-year-old--and everyone loved their food. Excellent omelets and green chile, ham, pecan french toast. No problem with special requests and substitutions, which is very imporant to us. Downside: the food was a little slow in coming, and the coffee was--well, I like Starbucks, and this was more like Folgers. All in all, highly recommend it. We'll be going back for sure!\r Pros: food Cons: a bit slow more

Best breakfast in town 4/18/2003

This place has the best huevos and chicken fried steak in town. Hard to find but worth it. Pros: inexpensive more
