I have spent so much money at this place and my face looks worse then before. She has cursed me out and is very unprofessional. I have since taken my busiess elsewhere. Her products are way overpriced and she doesn't appreciate my service. If I could give her Business a zero starts, I would. Don't waste your money on her, you'll find your skin in worse condition then before. I stopped going to her about 7 months ago. She's very rude. more

I can't imagine my life without Venus' facials every month. I had been looking around Austin for a good place to get a facial, but every facial I had was mediocre-- at best. I got so tired of 'spa' like facials, when all I wanted was someone to take time looking at my skin and to tell me what I needed to do to make it look better! When I read the review for Venus Skin Care, I thought I would give her a call and try it out. Every since June 2010, I have been going to Venus regularly and I get so many compliments on my skin. I have been going to Venus for several years now and she has consistently provided great service. Her facials and the products she uses does wonders for my skin. My skin looks healthy, is brighter and feels softer. I like the way she takes her time to look at your skin at each visit and gives you updates on what you might be doing wrong. Over the years, Venus has become a good friend and her personality, knowledge and experience in the field of skin care are big factors in her success. Now that I moved to Houston, I cannot see her on a regular basis, but try to get an appointment every time I visit Austin. I am glad I found such great skin care service!! more

I live in Ohio most of the year and could not wait to return to Austin to have Venus give me a facial. She is very through in taking the time to give your face a deep clean and takes time to mention how to use your products to best keep your skin looking fresh. Also has advice on what diet and lifestyle to help give you great skin. The studio has a very relaxed feel and she speaks in soft voice to help keep you relaxed during the facial. I have problems with blackheads and Venus is very good at getting them removed and suggesting products to minimize the pores and return of the blackheads. I will be returning to Ohio soon but will be waiting when I can get back to Austin to have another facial with Venus. more

Venus offers one of the best facials in Austin! She has a small studio near Seton and Central Market (quick access from Mopac) and can help with all types of skin care needs. I went to her looking for anti-aging and preventative solutions and left feeling and looking great. My skin looked alive and refreshed after my facial. She was informative and knowledgeable without being pushy or preachy. I felt relaxed and at ease and definitely enjoyed the experience and the way my skin felt and looked after. Venus is very experienced in what she does - she will never do anything to your face where you can't go out of your house for days. She is a very uplifting person, easy to talk to and very caring for your face AND your life style! She enlightened me so much how to be healthy in general and how those things can affect my skin. I have been going to her twice a month for past 6 months now and my skin os at its best stage than ever in past 8 years - I struggled with acne and been on topical medication ever since i was a teen, which damaged my immunizing ability and my skin was ended up very sensitive to even change of water when I travel. I was having issues with my skin looking dull and blotchy with uneven pigmentation and have always wanted to try a chemical peel. I’m so lucky to have found Venus because she offers a very effective – and natural - peel that solved all the issues I was dealing with. I called her and she recommended the Vie Acid Peel and my skin has never looked better. She explained how most peels on the market cause cellular damage and are usually really expensive, along with having to deal with downtime. Compared to everything else I researched, this was so much less expensive. I started seeing Venus in early 2009 after my skin had keratinized (was rough and rashy-looking) and nothing I tried would work. In a matter of months, my skin noticeably improved, and continues to improve with my daily regimine and my monthly visits. Not only has Venus helped my skin, she helped me to become gluten-free (which has not only helped my skin but my total well-being - I feel great!!), and helped me to discover I have hypothyroidism, for which I am now being treated. I am 25 years old and have been dealing with acne problems since I was 14. At first I thought I just had pimples, but soon enough I realized this was more than your regular teenage growth. I went to my first dermatologist. I was prescribed some acne medicine that had to be refrigerated. I couldn't use dirty hands to apply it, I wasn't told how to remove it, and it eventually became too much work for a growing kid. I couldn’t be in the sun much, but luckily, I was going through an awkward goth phase where the sun wasn’t necessary. I kept it under control for a while after I quit, but eventually it hit me again, stronger and more resilient than the first. I went to another dermatologist who gave me a bunch of stuff, he was a nice doctor, cleared the acne. The problem was, I wasn’t told how to make my face feel normal. I felt scaly and dry. We even joked I was a snake. I went through a chemical peel that was painful and when I looked at myself in photographs, my face looked a different shade than the rest of my body. \r I was in college and I visited some other dermatologist that isn’t even worth mentioning. It was this final so-called dermatologist that pushed me over to the anti-chemical side. It was less than a year ago in January, when I started searching for other options on the Internet. I started to have monthly appointments with Venus DeMarco last June. Its been 10 months now and i continue to see improvement with my skin's health. When i walked in I had large pores, sun damage, and I was very prone to blemishes. I write this at the risk of telling too many people about how awesome Venus is and then making my appointment more difficult to schedule. Here's the deal, I moved from the west coast to Austin and my face EXPLODED. I had never had such teenage awful acne, even as a teen. Enter Venus. After giving me an incredibly deep facial (yes, extractions are a drag but just get over it because they make your skin glow) I started going to see Venus monthly. Now I rarely break out, can actually wear makeup (before I had just given it up but Venus turned me on the the awesomeness that is Jane Iredale), and people now stop me to tell my my skin looks great. I just left Venus' office & I feel like a new woman. Having the furnace on & off the past few weeks has wreaked havoc on my skin. I had dry patches that my regular facial scrub didn't take care of. I had my first facial with Venus today and it was more than I expected. I had heard from my friend that?s been going to her for awhile that she was good but after going to her and having this experience, I wish I had gone to her sooner. I don?t have problematic skin so was just looking for a relaxing facial, which I received, along with some great advice on how to keep my skin looking radiant. Since I already had a skincare line I had been using, she only recommended a few products that completed what I was using at home. I didn't realize the real benefit of having a toner before, so that along with sunscreen will complete my daily routine. I loved walking away with such a healthy glow!
