I had the pleasure of going to Venice Salon & Day Spa for my PROM:)...and i got my hair, nails, and eyebrows done! I had no idea what to expect because it was my first time ever going there, but they did an AWESOMEO! job with my hair, it was B-E-A-utiful!! The atmosphere was great, the staff was SUPER friendly, the facility was clean, I enjoyed everything about it and I highly recommend you get your hair done there! An Essential Part of My Life... 4/22/2004

I have had massages before, but not as wonderful as my experience with Rafael. His unique and powerful touch stimulates me physically and spiritually, giving me pure satisfaction. I can not express highly enough of this place. It started when I used CitySearch to find a place that offers couples massage- after reading a few, I decided on Venice Salon and Day Spa. My boyfriend and I love getting massages and have been to many. Venice is by far the best in service, cleanliness, & classy. We were both greeted and treated very well. The owner and staff made sure that we were well taken care of. Since that first visit, we've been back several times & it's our fav place to go to get pampered. It is a drive for us since we are from the Humble area..but well worth it. Venice should be noted as the most superb salon in Houston and surrounding area. No one is better! Best in the country! 8/13/2003

I have had massages all over the country, but I make the drive to Houston at least once a year because I have never experienced a better massage than at Venice. The setting is incredible and the price is unbelieveable. But Raphael is the reason I come back. He is totally professional, but he makes you feel beautiful and relaxed. He cares about his customers and wants you to enjoy the entire experience. I leave feeling peaceful, happy and stress-free. more

Unforgettable Experience 8/1/2003

Romance in Venice is the best experience I have had in my life. It is an excellent day spa package for two which I enjoyed with my husband for our anniversary. Rafael and his staff are really proffesional. The gorgeous relaxation suite, dry sauna, private lockers, services and attention were awesome. I felt like a queen. Doesn't Get Any Better 7/23/2003

I have had massage therapy from all over the world by all types of therapists, and have never had such professional, gifted, spiritual massages in my whole life. Rafael knows how to "read" a persons body and use the most effective type of massage to bring my muscles back in line with my mind and spirit. There are massage therapists who know what to do, some that enjoy what they do, and those like Rafael who are GIFTED at what they do. The staff at Venice are wonderful, and once you've had a massage from Rafael, you will find him as essential to your physical and spiritual maintenance as water and oxygen for life. An heavenly experience. 7/23/2003

I was in town for a christian women's conference in July. Our agenda was to attend the conference, shop and have a body massage. When we arrived to scheduled an appointment, Rapheal gave us a tour of the facility. Rapheal and his staff was able to accomodate eight women at one time for a combination of massages, pendicures, manicures, etc within a 24 hour day notice. I was pleased with the attentiveness, the pampering of the staff, and Rapheal's wonderful 1.5 massage. The hot stone treatment, body oils, facial, and of course the massage itself . . . was heaven. And while you waited, the relexation room and food that was served, made you feel at home. We were blessed to receive wonderful hospitality at a reasonable cost. Awesome treatment! 6/19/2003

I'm surprised with the low rating of "Inappropriate and Scary". I have been to Venice several times and have received outstanding massages from both Rafael and Kristine. Their techniques are the best I've ever experienced (and I've been to several massage therapists in the Houston-Galveston area). They are very attentive, but never once would I deem them inappropriate or scary. This is far from the truth. I won't go anywhere else for massages because Rafael has truly spoiled me! Best anniversary gift ever!! 3/30/2003

We did the "Romance in Venice" package for couples for our first anniversary. It was an incredible full day (6.5 hours) with 2 hours in a VIP suite for just you two (1-hr jacuzzi, 1-hr massage), 2 hours side-by-side on relaxing spa recliners (1-hr manicure, 1-hr pedicure), lunch, a 1-hr facial, shampoo/cut/style, and makeup for her. Every single employee was not only extremely skilled, but also very friendly and hospitable. Everything about the package was quality, relaxing and pampering ... they (especially Rafael) truly made us feel like royalty. Tired of the uncaring, over-crowded, assemblyline Urban process and can't wait to Retreat as they boot you out the door with a fuzzy, pink-slippered, swift kick? Pampered like a queen 1/12/2003

My husband took me to Venice Salon for my birthday. He reserved the VIP suite where we received a couple's massage by candelight followed by wine, fruit and cheese in the jacuzzi. Rafael and his staff offer the most outstanding spa experience you could imagine. While sitting in bubbles up to our chins, they surprised me with cookies, sang happy birthday to me and presented me with roses. I have never felt so pampered! This place is first-class!! more

There are simply no words. Rafael and his outstanding staff have one goal--a satisfied, pampered, comfortable, relaxed, and revitalized experience. I took my fiance' for the romance package weeks ago, I'm still reeping the benefits. Get the hot rock in your massage! Everyone treated us as if we were the only ones there, yet they respected our privacy. We simply smiled from the morning until we were done. My fiance' talked and joked with her various stylists & manicurists as if they were friends. Rafael was superb and attentive in every way.
