numerous disappointments -- two visits in a row! 11/30/2011

My first appointment: I sat in the waiting are for an hour past my appointment. No one ever bothered to say the were running behind or anything...just gossiped behind the counter. Courtney was EXTREMELY rough while combing out my hair and blow drying it. So much so that my head actually jerked back hard a couple times. I asked her to take it easy but she just acted annoyed. Second appointment- *ONLY* 40 minutes behind schedule without telling me when I checked in. Again, before she started combing out my hair I asked her to be gentle because I had a headache. She then went into this story on how some people were just too sensitive. For the amount of money paid, the service was lacking a number of ways. more

"Natural" is not always the best way to go ... 11/26/2011

I get the "all natural" venue Veda has taken however there are times when it's not always the best option. I was getting regular manicures & pedicures there for years until I asked for "gel nails" and were told they didn't offer it because of UVA rays etc. Well you receive more UVA rays walking to and from your car in Colorado. I am not concerned with the minimal UVA rays one gets from curing the gel nails. Nor am I concerned with the gentle file technique used to remove the polish. It barely touches your nail bed if done properly so there is no damage to your nails. Gel nails are the latest - they last for weeks w/o chipping or dulling. Sorry Veda, until you realize you are losing business from your all natural approach I regret to say I will not be seeing you again. more

HIGHLIGHTS & CUT BY MIRAGE 11/21/2011

As always, Mirage does a great job. I love the highlights and the cut, even though I took off about 4 inches is easy to work with and I received tons of compliments. Thank you! Also - Liz waxed my eyebrows - the "walk in" service is great and she did a wonderful job. I will catch her when I am in the next time. more

Clients needs are important 11/17/2011

My haircut was great but my stylist Kayla did not really listen to what I wanted when it came to my color. I wanted to go a little bit darker. She is ALWAYS running behind, I waited 45 AFTER my appointment time for her to start on me. If you have somewhere to be don't schedule an appointment with her because you are guaranteed to be LATE and she doesn't seem to care. She's all about the money not her clients.s more

That was my first time ever going to Veda Salon and Spa. The staff there was very friendly and very experienced. I had a great time at Veda Salon and Spa. I will definitely make another appointment there when the time is right. I recommend that people make an appointment at Veda Salon and Spa. more

For the first time ever I was not happy with my experience at Veda. After my stylist talked up how important using a specific conditioner was for keeping the color longer, I found out that the salon was out of the conditioner and it wasn't going to be used on my hair. I was pretty amazed and disappointed that I couldn't have the conditioner that is usually used on my hair. So my stylist said I didn't need it. Honestly, after spending nearly $300 on my hair that day I am disappointed to say the least. I will be looking for another salon who does not run out of products after telling clients they need it. more

The experience I had at Veda Salon & Spa was among the best I have ever had. From the professionalism of the girls to the massage, everything was second to none. Jaclyn especially stood out. Her attentiveness to my lower back problems. Her attention to detail, and the skill of her massage easily make this one of the best massages I have ever had. I would recommend Veda and recommend Jaclyn if you would like a 5 star massage! more
