The Roosevelt Hotel 11/6/2006

What a great place to stay in Manhattan...located on E 45th Street and Madison Avenue this hotel is convenient to everything. The staff at the Roosevelt were so accommodating and friendly...I have stayed at many hotels and encountered many employees that simply do their basic jobs with no spirit...Not these people!!! From the bellmen to the doorman..you couldn't find anyone without a smile and a helpful attitude....the housekeepers were the best and the reception staff was top notch...The hotel is home to many conferences and seminars and I can see why it is chosen for such things. From the beautiful lobby with it's exquisite fresh floral arrangements to the well appointed rooms it is a delightful place to hang your hat for a few days..Every day we were greeted by name by the doorman...and any need was filled immediately by the well trained staff...I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to experience such a well run establishment. In Manhattan rooms can be small and cramped..and although this was no penthouse or suite..it was very comfortable and met our every need. From check in to check out we were greeted and treated like they really appreciated our business and with that kind of attitude they will definitely get more of it !!! more
