I change my look frequently, and only trust one person in Atlanta to cut my hair. Jeffrey has given me everything from short crops to sleek bobs to fun textured looks that accentuate my naturally curly hair with effortless precision every time. I change my look frequently, and only trust one person in Atlanta to cut my hair. Jeffrey has given me everything from short crops to sleek bobs to fun textured looks that accentuate my naturally curly hair with effortless precision every time. The customer service in the salon is excellent, as is the atmoshpere. Jeffrey has his finger on the pulse of the fashion world and uses that expertise to consistently find new looks that compliment my face shape, lifestyle and personality. Excellent colorists with wonderful attention to detail 10/21/2008

After having another colorist mess up my hair color (at another salon), I visited Sage to get it fixed. She was wonderful! She patiently listened to what I did not like about the current color of my hair and made sure that before we did anything, we went through her books and picked out the color that I was looking for so that the same mistakes were not made again. We talked about the colors that were right for my skin tone and that would complement my natural color. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I walked into the salon miserable and feeling horrible about my hair, but she allowed me to leave feeling 100% better! And the best part was that I didn't feel I needed to hide under my hat anymore! Thank you so much!! She is definitely my new colorist from now on! Pros: Extremely experienced staff, very friendly, easy relaxing experience more

Had my hair cut with Len, it was one of the best experiences I've had at a salon here in Atlanta. After a long conversation in which Len showed me pictures from his portfolio and explained my face shape and he explained what would work best for me we picked a new style for me. Excellent salon 9/30/2008

This salon is definitely a cut above -- no pun intended. While other I've been to around town also certainly have capable stylists, Van Michael seems to have the entire salon experience down pat. So imagine getting a great haircut but also enjoying every minute of your visit. I'm never going anywhere else! Pros: Very skilled staff, excellent service, awesome hairstyles Cons: Sometimes it's hard to get an appointment but well worth the wait more

I absolutely love getting my hair cut at Van Michael's Sandy Springs location. It starts at check in, when you are directed to a dressing room and offered a beverage.\r \r Before starting, your stylist will discuss your cut and desired outcome. Do you want something totally new? A style that takes a lot of product, or something quick and easy. Then you receive a brief (but yummy) neck and shoulder massage.\r \r After the neck & shoulder massage, you are off to have your washed (with a scalp massage). Cut, style and styling tips round out your appointment.\r \r Before you leave, you will be asked if you'd like to go ahead and make your next appt. It's a good idea...they book up pretty fast. PROS: great stress reducing neck & shoulder massage! CONS: it can be pricy...try New Talents for a more affordable experience more

I've been going to VAn Michaels for 7+ years and love it. I actually travel over 30 miles one way to go. I have always been pleased with their services and treated wonderfully by their staff. more

In my search for a stylist to cut and style my thick and ultra-straight hair, I was referred to Michael Council many years ago. During my first visit, Michael took the time to point out my best features and cut my hair to accentuate them. Michael doesnt try to push the latest hair styles to make him look good but wants his clients to be able to easily style their hair after the cut. I frequently receive compliments on my hair and have referred many friends and family members to him. Michael makes me feel like a million bucks after each visit. Thanks Michael for your magic! more
