Loved it! The atmosphere was great! The food good, yet reasonably priced and the staff VERY knowledgable. Not to mention the martinis! They were oh so fun and tasty too! I had the Rasberry Beret and enjoyed it. I liked the idea of the tapas and the party food platters... The portions weren't huge but sufficent... I am already planning to take a different group of friends there. Its an all around good time. more

amazingly unique 5/5/2006

I have hosted two events at Van Goghz so far and everything was perfect. The staff is friendly, helpful and can pour a GREAT drink. Happy hour specials are good too. I recommend the blue agave margaritas-they are slightly addictive. The food is so unique and delectable, I am very impressed. I had a chance to try something that will be on the new menu, Chicken Pot Stickers, and it is a must have. Not only is everything they serve amazing, but the atmosphere is one of a kind. Great Atmosphere & Appetizers! 3/28/2006

I went to Van Goghz this past Friday for the first time. WOW the place is so cool! The drinks and appetizers were great! The atmosphere was fun & classy and not smoky. Erin Bode was performing that night. The staff is very friendly and fun. We'll be back soon! Loved the lounge! Oh, and the parking lot in back was a surprise.-NICE. Thanks for great time! Great decor, menu, music, staff. Very sophisticated atmosphere, yet not stuffy. Good crowd & diverse musical acts. Highly recommend this place. Pros: Decor, Staff, Menu Cons: Cover charge more

too much smoke 12/1/2005

I noticed someone else mentioned they came on a Sat. eve and it wasnt crowded, i would say that is because of the odors. The place looks great, but you leave smelling like something between frozen seafood and an ashtray. Pros: trendy, looks nice Cons: no parking, stinks more

I went with a group of friends on a Saturday night. The bar wasn't too crowded and our waitress was hilarious and very attentive. The appetizers were great, and so were the martinis. I think we drank our way through the list. Highly recommend the pineapple martini. We sat on the couches near the window and didn't move all night. The place is very clean and comfortable, and not smoky. Pros: great drinks, great service, nice clean atmosphere more
