I also had a bad experience with Dennis Paige. I went in after getting NEW tri-focal glasses, $500 at 20/20 in GWS, asking to get only my annual contact lens prescription. He charged me for BOTH an eyeglass and contact lens prescription and suggested that I might want to buy the $50 reading glasses to amend my new contact lens prescription!
When I questioned spending the extra $50 for the eyeglass prescription, I was told that only Dr. Paige could remove the fee and he was with another patient. I bought the reading glasses to go with my contact lens prescription however I have not needed these in the week that I have waited to see him again. However, the mid-range and distant-range on my new bi-focal contacts is appalling and I do not feel safe driving with this prescription! I was going to see him again tomorrow but after reading these reviews, I will call to see if another doctor in the office can see me. I am leaving this weekend for a trip to England and had hoped not to have to spend so much time on this facet of preparation. I feel that I am owed $100 from Vail Vision and a contact lens prescription that I CAN use! Stay tuned...
