I have been to Ushers Ferry several times- once with a school field trip and on an overnight with the girl scouts. Also I have attended some of special events. It is like taking a step back in time.
The tour guides wear old fashioned clothing. It is like a prairie village with a church, general store, saloon, and schoolhouse. There are more buildings also. It is a village before electricity or indoor plumbing.
The special events are the most fun. My children enjoyed the train day. They rode a train and made a craft at the schoolhouse. Lots of fun for everyone!
