I must say that I was a really worried and nervous about my March 9th move because I had several bad experiences with moving companies in the past. Moving is so stressful and finding people who make it a little less stressful is really hard and a job within itself. I really did my research this time around and came across this company. I called the BBB to see if they were rated an A+ like they had advertised and to my surprise they were. When I spoke to the customer service agent he was helpful and friendly. I specifically told him to send me movers who were not lazy, professional, and courteous. With that being said he promised to send me the best crew he had! On moving day I had a little problem with the storage company and I remember one of the movers telling me not to worry, to relax, and that everything will be fine. He was very kind and seemed to set the mood for the rest of the day. The rest of the crew was very kind too, very professional and had good manners. I was in complete shock! They handled my furniture with care ( and I am VERY neurotic about my furniture) and stayed within the 3 hours. If anyone out there is looking for a moving company that is professional, honest, and who just makes your moving day a little less stressful, this is it! Trust me, I would NEVER go out of my way to recommend or leave a good review for any company unless they were REALLY worth it! I told the movers that I would give them a good review because good service is hard to find nowadays and when you find it you should let others know about it! I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone and I feel comfortable now knowing that all my future moves will be done with US 1!!!! more

US 1 Van Lines is terrible! Poor communication, late arrival, threw around my FRAGILE boxes and BROKE EVERYTHING. Did not wrap furniture and mattresses were very dirty upon arrival, disassembled furniture while in storage and permanently damaged it, poor customer service, did not respond to claim. NEVER AGAIN. Please beware. more

I am writing to share with you my appreciation for the smooth movement of our household goods and furniture from Dallas to Modesto, California. I am particularly pleased with the superb customer service of the move coordinator Dennis Witsoe and the driver and help of the delivery team. Dennis Witsoe closely coordinated with me throughout our lengthy cross country move, from the beginning, when he surveyed our load, through the storage process, and finally, the shipment itself, assuring that our possessions arrived on time, as scheduled. We found Dennis to be efficient, affordable, and reliable. He is customer service oriented and a credit to your firm. When the moving van arrived to California, your del9iver driver Jason Sevenler and his partner was courteous and effective in unloading our load, including being able to maneuver the large semi van into a quite limited space. I was especially impressed with Jason?s problem solving ability. He found positive solutions to several off-loading situations. In short, I would recommend US-1 as a moving company of choice to anyone. I have already told my son Robert to consider using your company when he moves his household in the Metroplex.
