Terrible experience 3/30/2019

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! NEVER use any of the companies associated with Uptown plumbing and heating, including Hero. I had them out a couple of years ago when my furnace went out in February. They were here for about two hours... installed a part which I found costs around $75 retail and charged me $883. I was very sick with the flu, so complained to a Deb at the office a few days later. I told her I thought $300 plus per hour for labor was high. She told me to go pound sand. I wish I could rate them at LESS than one star. more

they were on time, efficient and finished quickly. Very polite and explained things to me about the boiler they were fixing. I know one of their names was Matt garry and think the other guy was dwight but maybe you can just look on my receipt more

Best plumbing experience ever. 3/29/2018

Fast, reliable service. Dustin was friendly and seemed to know exactly what to do to take care of our leaky, old shower. Gave us several options for repair, and took care of fetching required parts and installation. Flawless. We couldn't be more pleased. more

Uptown technicians have always been prompt, courteous, and thorough. They're people who treat you as people,and who communicate about the machinery they're working on but also topics beyond. Most recently, Zak A was out to perform annual inspection and maintenance of our furnace and water heater, and was fun and informative to talk with. more

Boiler repair 3/20/2018

Ryan Rudolph was extremely helpful. He repaired the boiler and described the Honeywell Lyric thermostat which will solve my problem of monitoring the house temperature while I travel. He not only installed it ,but also helped me learn how to use. Great job. more

Dwight B. was extremely nice and highly proficient. He took the time to answer my questions, and he explained everything incredibly well, including what options we had moving forward. He also has a warmth about him that is less common in my experience, and it never felt like he was rushing through anything or going through the motions. Easily one of the best technicians to come here. more

Plumber Visit 3/5/2018

We are a member of the service maintenance program and a service tech recommended that we have the plumber come to check out a couple of things. The plumber called ahead prior to his arrival, was actually running early, was clean and thorough and made sure he answered all my questions. He did not 'oversell' and was not pushy. All in all, a delightful service interaction - which is a rare event indeed. more
