I had laser surgery over 14 years ago by Dr. Updegraff. I was around 50 yrs old and had acute astigmatism and at my consultation he told me because of my age I would probably need readers and except for that I've been happy with choosing him to do my surgery. P.S. What impressed me was that he was using cutting-edge laser flap removal when most other Dr's were still using the razor, my eye's were worth it. more

I see 20/20 8/6/2005

I would ONLY recommend Dr. Updegraff for Laser surgery in the Tampa Bay Area. After my own personal experience and many other testimonies from friends, he is by far the most talented doctor in the area. I did do a consultation with Dr. Leach. He was not comfortable doing my surgery and suggested that I just stick to glasses (my prescription was around a -11.0 ... I had VERY poor vision). Six months later I decided to sit down with Dr. Updegraff. He was very comfortable with doing my surgery. Two years later, I'm still seeing 20/20!! more
