Staff were very helpful. We appreciated being able to keep our bicycles in a storage room. The outdoor pool and "Lisa's" help on the phone made the difference in our deciding to stay here. She helped dispel some misgivings, after reading some online reviews. She convinced us that our needs would be met. more

Enjoyed my stay very much. Nice, clean, comfortable accommodations. Peaceful stay and was able to get a great nights sleep. The desk clerks were always very helpful, courteous and gracious hosts!! I would recommend for others visiting PSU and downtown Portland to consider staying at University Place! Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay. Portland and it's people are very lovely and I look forward to moving here this Fall as a new PSU student!! :) more

Though the hotel is not new, I find that it is very well kept and clean. For the price, it is an exceptional value. The rooms are always clean and neat. I am particularly impressed with the front desk staff, who are very helpful and accommodating. My personal favorite is Willie, who goes out of his way to make me feel welcome. more
