The County fair grounds put on many shows and entertainment events. They have put in a new mudbogs mud pit and today they are having a show at 1 pm. The cost of tickets is really affordable at 7.00 for adults and 3.00 for kids 6-12. During the rest of the year there are events like the Union county fair which includes a car derby. The fair grounds is also were the Little Sturgis Rally is held, it is a huge motorcycle meeting event and there is usually 30,000+ motorcycles that show up and for 3 days hang out at the fairgrounds. My favorite event at the grounds is their forth of july event, i have friends from all around here in owensboro and henderson that will travel all this way to watch our fireworks show instead of their hometown shows because it is better. The fairgrounds have many other events that I personally havent been to.
