DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR COLOR. Period. I created this profile on citysearch because I feel compelled to warn the public. Nazila from the Ulta Salon did my hair. I got a haircut and asked for small, natural blonde highlights. The haircut was very nice, BUT the highlights were a NIGHTMARE! I noticed that she was doing the highlights correctly on the top of my head, but on the sides she tried to hurry through and started taking really big chunks of hair and slapping on bleach. I guess this is because her next appointment had showed up and she hadn't booked me with enough time. I should have stopped her then, but what do I know? I don't do hair professionally! The result was horrendus. The sides of my head were bright ORANGE, hideous zebra stripes that made me want to shave my head. They also started really far down, so it looked like I had big brown roots already. When I pointed them out she was like no it's ok, and I said no it most certainly is not! I was almost to tears by the time the manager, Estella, made her way over. She tried to downplay how horrible my hair was and said well, what do you want me to do to fix it? As if she couldn't see! The fact that it wasn't immeadiately obvious to her was even more alarming!! After 6 hours of trauma I left with a wash in my hair that looked ok but came out after 2 weeks. I was also only given a slight discount...needless to say I'm never going back and would warn anyone considering this salon to either not use Nazila or don't do color.
