Cash and Carry - Unprofessional, Unethical & Moronic 8/29/2006

Here is what I have just sent to the CEO of Cash and Carry (symbol SMF at New York Stock Exchange). - I fell at your store because there was spilled rice all over the place. - Since that wasn't enough, at least 2 of your employees who witnessed it IMMEDIATELY turned their heads away to pretend nothing had happened. - After I sent an inquiry to customer relations, they mistakenly sent me account information of ANOTHER customer and pretended that nothing happened. - All I got initially was what they want from me. Nobody asked me how I was hurt or gave me any information. - When I was ordered to call S. W., I explained in WRITING that I needed her to communicate with me in WRITING, by email. - It turns out that S.W. is too important to do that. She won't even answer email that is not initiated by her. - A month later, A.R, reappeared and forwarded me a message to her colleague basically asking whassup. - The nicest way I can put it is these people are a bunch of morons. They need to learn that ignoring their responsibilities and liabilities won't end the case, but the company. more

Cash and Carry is GREAT! 5/17/2006

I recently relocated to Redmond after living in Southern California all my life. I've been looking and looking for a place like Cash and Carry, and FINALLY, I found it! It reminds me a lot of the Smart and Final I used to shop at in Orange County, California. It is a great place to find some really great buys, especially if you are a person who likes to have parties and family get-togethers. I was THRILLED to find the DaVinci sugar-free syrups for my coffee at such a wonderfully low price. If you check out the DaVinci syrups on line, you'll find that the price is at least double or triple from the price at Cash and Carry, and then of course you have to pay for shipping. The "deli room" and the "produce room" are absolutely fantastic. I bought some really great desserts for my family and some convenient ready-made frozen meals. If you haven't checked the place out, I highly recommend it. I think it is a great place to shop! more

Cash & Carry Your Coffee Needs 4/2/2006

I like Starbucks as much as the next person. But when the coffee habit costs you more per week than those tanks of gas, it's time to find another solution. Cash & Carry in Bellevue carries the grocery supplies needed by restaurants, food services departments, and small businesses. They also carry everything you need to stock your own home coffee shop. You'll find a wide selection of syrups, coffees, and mixes for granita drinks. Some of the portions are large so be prepared to bring the credit card. But you'll save and carry more cash in the long run. more

Cash and Dash 3/19/2006

Cash and Carry in Bellevue is like a small Business Costco without the crowds. It has a huge variety of espresso supplies and at very reasonable prices. You can find candy that is hard to locate elsewhere. They also have a large stock of paper goods and cleaning supplies. I like the spice isle. more

Like a Prehistoric Costco 3/17/2006

Although I think it's been around a LONG time, I just recently discovered Cash and Carry. It's based upon the same idea as Costco, but I suspect, although I'm not sure, that it's been around a lot longer. It sells items in bulk, so mainly for restaurants and businesses, but no membership is required. And, it does have some items that Costco doesn't. If you are a coffee/latte fanatic, you've got to visit. Cash and Carry has the most extensive line of coffee products (i.e. flavored syrups, toppings, sauces, etc) that I've seen in a retail store. I go here for all my syrups, generally less than $4.00 per bottle. Also, they have a lot of candy type items, so I would definitely keep this store in mind if you hare having a kids birthday party or something like that. If you pass by, go inside & keep this place in mind for when you have a particular need. more
