UPSTART provides families like yours with a computer-based preschool program that your child uses at home for at least 15 minutes a day.
UPSTART is an in-home,computer-based preschool program funded by the state of Utah. Call or go online to register your child today! UPSTART uses Waterford Institute's award-winning software. The program provides preschool-age children (the year before they enter kindergarten) with an individualized reading, math and science curriculum, with a focus on reading instruction. With research-based programs and an exceptional User Support team, UPSTART forms a partnership with parents to ensure their children start on the path to success in school. The UPSTART program is statewide, with more than four thousand children participating to date. Applicants are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Qualifying participants receive a free computer and Internet service for the duration of their child's time on the program. Registration is now open for children entering kindergarten in 2013.
