Rip Off, Rude, Customer Service is Dead Here 6/17/2011

First of all, I have been going to this UPS location for over a year. It's the most convenient one to hit on the way to work, and I probably overnight things 3-4 times per week, as well as send packages about once a week. I know that they charge a little more than the post office on things, but I agree that you have to stay in business someone. Still, there's a line you cross that chases customers away, and that is just what happened to me. The owner (middle aged male) has always been a little rude. He makes inappropriate comments, gets quite loud and upset with some of his clients, and really treats everything like a chore. Also, the store will just randomly open 30-45 minutes late and/or close early whenever he wants. The thing that really pissed me off was when I went to send my wedding invites. As I said, I go there A LOT and give them A LOT of business. They told me it would cost 95 cents for each of my wedding invites. I actually talked to the owner about this for a while because it was a lot more than I expected and really more than I could afford. He simply said that they were heavy and that's how much it cost. No offer for a discount (I was shipping large quantities) and no hint that maybe I could save money going to the post office for this personal errand. They simply charged me with a big smile on my face, three separate times while each time I talked about how much it cost. My fiance brought some of the late invites to the post office, where we discovered it was only 64 cents. When I called to politely ask why he had over shot me by 33%, he said he had to make money. My fiance called a bit later to ask why, as a valued customer I hadn't been offered a bulk discount or steered away, and the owner promptly told him to F*#k off. Great business practices. You may have made 31 cents on each of those invites, but you've lost the thousands of dollars that I would continue to spend on shipping and overnighting. DO NOT GO HERE! more

STAY AWAY,OWNER IS BEYOND CRAZY,HE WILL SCREW YOU ANY CHANCE 4/5/2010

I have also caught him lying about receiving a package that was there,my wife went to pick it up and he started yelling at her when she stated that UPS confirmed delivery.I have seen him be very rude and especially threatening to female customers. He is never wrong and raises his voice ALOT. Dont count on this store if you have time senstive material,he sets his own hours, and closes down for personal play. If you print up your own labels and dont spend any money with him he could care less about your shipment and I think holds it back a day before shipping, which recently happened to me after I called him and asked if the driver had been there yet,he said no,when I got there ask again and said no he hadn't been by yet ,took my package, thur it down and it didnt get picke up for TWO DAYS,This guy is a loose cannon.I would not confront this guy because he is not the kind of guy that woulld learn anything from a a$$ whipping{ which I so want to do but then you have that crazy aspect to worry about} I had a PO Box for a short time and he he puts mail in your box when he feels like it. Please stay away from here there are some great alternatives in the area now. This place will make you feel dirty.UPS should strip his franschise. Pros: His wife is really nice, works in the AM Cons: Obnoxious owner more

The owner is CRAZY 3/29/2010

It's really weird. Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly and great. But- if you happen in there when an older adult male is in charge, go somewhere else. He acts as if the services he provides are a favor to you. If you lose your tracking number, for example, and have to inquire about it, he is sure you are challenging him in some personal way. If you say, in a conversational way, ""Could you send this to Houston for me?"" He snaps, ""No. It's only OUR BUSINESS to send things there!"" I'd hate to be married to him. It's not normal. Until this dude gets therapy, I'd go somewhere else. Pros: Everyone who workers there is nice, except the owner Cons: The owner treats his customers like enemies more

I love this store 3/19/2010

I visited this store reecntly and I found both workers to be helpful and the shipping was much cheaper than the Shipping place in Steiner Ranch. I recommend this store. Pros: Very friendly staff more

Stay Away from this store 12/18/2008

Avoid this store at all cost! Pros: The employees are nice but do not enter this store if owner is in. Cons: Irradic, Rude owner. more

Rip Off 12/17/2007

Do NOT use this store. They WILL rip you off for ANY shipping or mailing needs you may have. I was charged almost $10.00 to to send a certifed letter when it should have cost less than $5.00 at the post office. When I questioned this. The person working there ""Too bad, you should have gone to the post office"". I would not recommend using this store unless you like to spend 2x as much to send your packages or mail. The UPS stores are indenpendently owned and can charge whatever they want to, including mail going through the USPS. You can verify this by calling any UPS store. Pros: Great if you like to spend 2x the amount to send mail or packages. Cons: Very expensive and rude. more
