Would not recommend a relative or friend to see this Dr. 3/8/2011

Last week I had an appointment with this doctor and just happen to have a maniers decease attack in her waiting room. Only one staff member got up to help me. They seemed cold and distant. They took my 15:00 co pay the doctor talked to me and told me to call her again once I made up my mind. When I called her the next week I had a cathater in me and I was bleeding. Her staff said she will try to squeeze me in. Waited 20 min in wting room with a cathater on & bleeding finally got called back to wait another 15 min. assistant told me to get undressed from the waist down. When dr finally showed she didn't even examine me. She just presented me with the option of cutting on me and made it clear to me that was my only option. She was cold, showed no emotion and was not compassionate. She was mean as they came. She left the room not telling me if we were done and after 5 or 10 min of waiting I finally got dressed and walked out the door asked if I was done "Yeah Go" staff reply. more

I will never recommend her to a friend 12/19/2010

I had been a patient of Dr. Thompson for over 5 years. At first she was a wonderful and caring doctor. Over time and through my first pregnancy she changed. Dr. Thompson's bedside manners were disapointing. She seemed to ridicule me when I would come in for checkups and ask questions about the baby's progress. After delivering a child via c-section she allowed me to only stay at the hospital for 2 days. Even the nurses told me I could stay longer to recover and work more on breastfeeeding my newborn. When I asked Dr. T she gave me attitude because she had "already prepared my discharge papers." \r When I returned for my 6 week appt. I asked if I could have more time off from work because my peditrician and I were concerned that mybaby had not gained weight since birth. I was also experiencing some emotional issues and did not feel that I was ready to return to work. Dr. Thompson's response was "no" and a sarcastic" sorry we don't do fraud here." Never in my life had I been so insult more

THE BEST!! 1/19/2010

SHE IS THE BEST....I had an pregnancy where the baby did not form just the gestational sac (the water sac) and no one could find out what was wrong with me or what was going on. I was indeed postively prgnant but with no symptoms. After visiting Dr. THompson she had to perform a D/C on me to find out what happened to me. she was very confident and I was in and Out of surgery in no time I appreciate all her help with getting me back to normal and the followup appts are the most cruicial because they want the re patients to feel at therebest...So i recommend anyone to Dr.Tamara Thompson or Dr. Mark Brown! more

You Get The best care possible 2/27/2006

Hi! I see Dr. Tamara Thompson & she is a very good Dr. I was having problems with ovary pain & numerous other symptoms & she orderd an ultrasound, then I had to have a CAT scan & also an MRI . I had to have surgery to remove 2 large cysts. She was very caring & I was confident in her operating on me. I would let her operate on me again, if I needed it. She is very nice & takes time to answer any questions you might have.I also got an appt. right away to see her & her office pretty much gets in in when you are schuduled , except of course for emergencies , as she does deliverr babies. more
