Tuk Tuk

I've ordered from Tuk Tuk over the past two years and the food is very tasty. However, after my experience with them last night, I will never eat there again. I called in an order that THEY got wrong. When I went back to the restaurant to exchange the food for what I did order, I was met with hostility from the manager. She claimed it was MY mistake, because she didn't understand what I was saying on the phone. Excuse me, but we speak ENGLISH in this country, and if you can speak the language of your clientele, then maybe you shouldn't be answering the phone and taking orders. They refunded my money, and refused to give me what I ordered. So goodbye, Tuk Tuk...you Suk Suk. From now on I'll take my business to Spice, that just opened up one block away. more

We just moved to Long Island City, and realized... we have all these really nice looking retaurants... so we both wanted some good Thai Food.. and we took a chance and went to Tuk Tuk... the place is sooo cute.. well lit with the right kind of lights... a cute date spot, or a family reunion. The people that work there are the nicest and so accomodating. The Thai Iced Tea, and Pad Thai is awesome. They have all sorts of really good dishes, we have tried most of them now.. and we love them all. Pros: Great service and food Cons: none. more

I've had multiple bad ordering experiences with this restaurant so I decided to warn the world. If you absolutely HAVE to have Thai food and you're in Long Island City without a car or a Metrocard...then I suppose you can eat here. Otherwise, don't waste your time. The food is below average and the service is lousy. I will never ever even think about ordering from this place again. Pros: It's open at 7:30 p.m. Cons: Service and Food more
