My husband and I frequently need to be in Manhatten on business and we eat at Tse Yang's on 34 E 51st St. almost everytime we go there. The food is outstanding and it always arrives hot and is served by gentelmen who are polite and professional. more

Avoid if possible.An insult to Chinese food lovers. 9/3/2008

This place overcharges and the food is overfried,places sugar in sauces which shouldn't have sugar in them,and misrepresents its spicey dishes as spicey when they were not.My guest and I complained about the portions which were shockingly small and our waiter gave us a condescending response which is unnecessary to repeat.Despite the interior design which is impressive the lunch was an expensive embarrassment. Horrible experience! 8/23/2007

We planned a birthday celebration at Tse Yang's for our daughter. We had been there several years ago, and thought it was great. But our experience last Thursday night was beyond horrid. Pros: Beautifully appointed, traditional chinese decor. Cons: The food, the service, the price more

This is a quaint and interesting place. A friend of mine had extended an invitation, and I am glad I went. Not only was service timely, the food was refreshing and terrific!! more
