Had dinner with friends at Trombino's Bistro and it was very good! Might be the best in Albuquerque (that's what others told us). The food was very good. Some opted out of Italian and had what they thought were excellent filet mignons...my Italian dishes were very good. The service and decor were very nice and the ambiance is quite authentic. more

We/ve been going to Trombino's for over 20 years and we always have a good time. Sometimes the wait-staff is a little uppity, but the food is always fresh and tasty and the fried calamari is perfect. more

So far, best italian I've had in Albuquerque. I recommend the lasagna and a glass of the house cab. If you aren't in the mood for heavy pasta, then go for the fried calarmi salad. Stay for desert and have the tiramisu and coffee. After all, the place has a clean, comfortable ambiance and good lighting. more

Come here for lunch if you want the best bang for your buck. Everything I eat here is amazing. This is my go to ABQ special event, treat, reward resturant. The bread with oil (Ask for balsamic) and a brutis add anchovies, is the way to start any meal. My most recent love is the shrimp tortalini in a cream sauce, but it is all wonderful! The sweets at the end are also worth getting into. :-) more

The anonymous exterior gives way to a warm, inviting, upscale interior of exposed brick with broken plaster walls filled with Trompeloeil Murals reminiscent of an Italian Piazza. The warm, aromatic, homemade Italian Bread is addictive. The rich Italian menu features fresh seafood, steaks, grilled pork chops, veal & chicken as well as homemade Italian sausage, and pastas, all prepared using tried and true family recipes.
