I went for lunch today with my children and some friends at Triple E. The waitress never said please or thank you. She reached across the table and in front of everyone rather than walking around the table to each person to distribute our food. When my 6 yr old ordered chocolate milk to drink we were told "...not sure we can do that. That is really a breakfast thing." What?!?!? My smoked chicken that I paid $7.99 for was dry and appeared to me to have been reheated. As if all of this wasn't enough, my friend ordered appetizers for her family and specifically told the waitress to put them on her tab (twice). When we were done eating, my friend and I separated our tickets by our meals. My friend paid first and I second. After paying and walking out the door, I realized $30 seemed a little high for lunch for one adult and two small children at Triple E. I went back in and questioned it. The waitress then explained to me that my friend neglected to pay for the appetizers she had ordered and the waitress had taken it UPON HERSELF to charge ME for those appetizers WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION OR KNOWLEDGE on my part. Upon looking at the receipts, I realized the waitress, for some unknown reason, had put the appetizers on a completely separate ticket from my and my friends two tickets. This is why my friend had missed it. The waitress told me that I could make my friend come back in and pay for it and then she would take it off my bill. (What?!??! Off MY bill?! They were never supposed to be on my bill in the first place!) She was indignant, sarcastic, unprofessional, and disrespectful in every aspect of her behavior. My family and I live less than 2 miles from Triple E and have frequented it over our 10 years of living here and have often times gotten orders to go. I will never return. These folks simply bit one of the local hands that feeds them. If I were you I would watch what the person at the table next to you orders, you might just be paying for it in the end.
