I LOVE Trim. I LOVE Eraka! I've been going to Eraka for my hair color and cut for several years, since when she was at another salon. I've been going to her through her move, through my move to Indiana... still make a trip to St Louis regularly to get her design magic. :) She is awesome. I always love my cut and color. People are always asking me where i get my hair done and I have to tell them ""3 hours away, sorry"". She is so worth it! Love the new look in the salon too. Very sleek and modern. Makes me feel good when I go in. I recommend them to everyone! more

I have gone to Eraka for over a year now and would not trust anyone else with my hair! Each and every time I get a new cut and color it ALWAYS turns out just the way I hoped it would, and even better! Eraka is awesome at what she does and really makes it a point to have a good relationship with her clients. I moved to the Kirkwood area from out of state. I didn't know anyone; therefore, I had few options for finding a good stylist other than online research. The reviews here helped me select Trim and further helped me select Eraka. I could not be happier!!! Eraka is a FABULOUS stylist and is very talented with cuts and color. Additionally, she is so very sweet and has made me feel a bit more ""at home"" in a new place. From watching the work of the other stylists in the salon, I can say I haven't seen a single client walk out with ""bad hair"". They are all exceptionally professional and do high quality work. Their clientele is varied by age and by hair style. Trim stylists truly can do it all. The stylists also receive additional training and attend hair shows, which is very important. Finally, the atmosphere in the salon is very friendly. If Eraka is busy when I come in with another client, someone else will check on me, offer me a drink, etc. They carry quality products as well. So glad I found Trim and Eraka! more

I started going to Eraka when she was at another salon in Webster Groves and then she moved to Trim. I was a little concerned at first that prices would go way up or I wouldn't like the atmosphere, but I loved Eraka so I followed. I am so glad I did. Trim is a great salon with friendly stylists and clients. The location is great and I can almost always find parking in their lot (if only the Dewey's customers would stay out like the sign says!). The prices are competitive...high enough to know you're getting quality, but not so high you feel robbed. But mostly I'm so happy I still have Eraka as my stylist. She is hands down the most fantastic, caring person I have ever met. She listens to my ideas and looks at my ""hairspiration"" pictures and throws in a few of her own to come up with a cut and/or color that really suits me and it's always what I'm looking for (even if I didn't know it)! I can tell she cares about me as a client and a person and wants to make sure that I enjoy my appointment time as well as my hair when I walk out! I haven't been to the other stylists yet, but I've seen them interact with clients and they walk away happy with great hair. So I know when Eraka is on leave for a bit this year I'll be in good hands. I highly recommend if you are in the St. Louis area and looking for a quality stylist give Trim a shot. more

I have been getting my hair cut by Chris for years...I can't imagine going anywhere else. He is wonderful and indulges my 'bangs/no bangs"" ""color/no color"" whims. He and Amy are friendly, effecient and really care about their clients. Go to TRIM! more

I've been a blonde my entire life. Up until ten years ago I didn't need as much chemical help to keep it looking fabulous. I started going to the salon owner Amy Cross. She has always respected my wishes for being as blonde as possible and I have always received rave reviews on my color, how pretty it is, shiny & soft and also how it photographs beautifully. I've been feeling a little itchy on needing a change from my platinum locks and asked Amy if she would once again put her creative spin on my color. I wanted to remain blonde but have some depth and fall sexiness. Well a few weeks ago I sat in the chair as one girl and got up from the chair as another. My new color is flawless. She kept my light hair to use as highlights and worked in two other tones of carmel & brown to give me more depth and dimension. It gives my face more color & I am not as washed out. My face looks thinner and I have more confidence. I literally have had people cross over the street to compliment my hair, I've had more flirtations with my new color than before as a platinum girl. It's overall given me a softer, sexier fall look and I am so in love. I appreciate how kind & happy the staff is. the salon is clean and has top of the line salon products available for purchase including a buy X many products get 1 free. It's centrally located and I just couldn't be any happier. If I ever leave the state I told Amy I will fly her to my home once a month just so I can keep her as my stylist who really let's admit is more like a therapist lol :) thanks trim You are amazing! more

This is a great place to get a haircut! I just had a shave given to me as a birthday present from a friend and WOW! A terrific experience. I've always wanted to get a straight razor shave, and I can't recommend this enough! Go see Chris guys, he's a really good guy, very professional, and you won't be disappointed. Chris Cross one of the owners of the salon did my hair. It was his last appointment and late but he took a lot of time and care in giving me a fantastic color and cut. He was very detailed in looking at the health, color and style of my hair. I'll be back. Trim is a wonderful salon. Eraka does my hair and she is wonderful! She is amazing with color! I would never trust anyone else to do my hair. She has a wonderful personality and always finds a way to fit me in. She always knows the perfect way to cut/color my hair. She always makes sure that I know how to style my hair before leaving the salon and if I ever have any issues, she's more than happy to have me come back in and show me again. She's just wonderful! I first came into Trim at the suggestion of a buddy and have been going to Chris for all of my haircuts ever since. I travel a lot but he's always willing to be flexible with his schedule to accommodate me. As a guy I used to go the typically walk-in joints to get a hair cut but having someone consistently is the way to go. I never have to worry about who I'm going to get ,... will it be the rookie this time?,... or what my head is going to look like when it's over. I've had some murderous hair cuts from the walk in joints,.... white walls, missed hair behind the ears, the same painful annoying chit chat,...so what do you do, blah, blah, with a different person every time,..... I just moved to STL and needed to get my hair trimmed up. A friend recommended Anne. I love her. She is great at what she does. Her price is very closed matched to other salon professionals I have seen in STL. Coming from a small town, it seems like a lot of money. However, I did my research, and she is in the middle of the $. Pros: located in a great place, lots of choices for your next hair cut, friendly people Cons: Terriable parking. It is located across from a bar, so at night there is not a lot of parking, and you should be aware of your surrondings. ie dark parking lot and a lot of people next door in a bar! more

classy, hip, and professional. amy, the salon owner, has cut and colored my hair for a long time and i can completely trust her with my hair! she is very skilled in coloring, texturizing and creating the look you are going for. but she'll also tell you if something isn't quite right for your hair type and work with you to find something flattering and fashionable. and they carry ""bumble and bumble"", my favorite line of styling products! call to schedule as far in advance as possible, as her books fill up quickly. i'm sure the other stylists are wonderful too, i've just never experienced them personally. Pros: good parking, fun neighborhood more
