Fantastic Spa 1/3/2011

My mother and sister came to visit over the new years holiday weekend. We decided to treat ourselves and head to a day spa, thatnk goodness we chose Tribeca Beauty Spa. I will always remember this experience. My mom Betty said it's the best spa she has been to in her life. THank you for helping our weekend be such a memorial experience. Truly thankful! more

BEST FACIAL IN NYC 12/21/2010

Ive been to dozens of spas for a fantastic facial and never had a good experience...at Tribeca Beauty Spa my esthetician was so knowledgeable about my skin and made logical recommendations, the place isnt stuck up and its beautiful and the prices seem very fair to me...I also just started doing my waxes here and the job is equally impressive, I found my "go-to" maintenance place! more

Professional, friendly, just perfect. 1/31/2010

After reading all the great reviews, I picked Tribeca Beauty Spa for my 13-year old daughter and her friend's first spa experience. It was a birthday treat. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The girls enjoyed it. The spa is clean and neat and offers a wide variety of treatments. I would definitely recommend it and plan on visiting again. Great service and atmosphere! 1/31/2010

I felt like a dear guest at the best friend’s house. My coat was hang right away, I was offered homemade lemonade or hot tea. Appointment started on time. I booked Brazilian wax and it was my first time so I felt a little nervous, but Marina made me feel relaxed within minutes. After the appointment, I was shown the area downstairs where they have nice little lounge room and sauna and offered Espresso by Nadya. I will definitely come back!!!! more

A neighborhood gem 8/25/2009

I live in the neighborhood and I have tried all the spas in the area and hands down, this is the best spa for me. For massages, I usually try a different one from the menu each time I visit. I usually get the basic facial and I love it. I walk out with my skin that has been carefully re-hydrated. The aestheticians are good listeners and know how to best treat your skin. I get my nails done only at the spa. I prefer the intimate setting at the spa over the corner nail salons. The spa pedicure is a must especially during summer and winter time. An enhancement I think they can use is the decor. It's traditional and I think it can use a "lift". I am not crazy about the red walls nor the very classic doors that are used throughout the spa. Also, they need to have a better nail drying area. I always end up twisting my body to the side just to reach the fan to dry my nails. It's not a comfortable setting. Overall, it's a great little spa that I will continue to patronize as long as they are in business! more

Great Bachelorette party at Tribeca Beauty Spa 8/7/2009

The staff at Tribeca made our group feel pampered and relaxed. The planning was effortless. We had a party of 8 people, and the staff (especially the manager) was organized, available, and flexible. It was the least expensive place I considered, and yet I could not imagine having received better service anywhere else. The massages were awesome, while the manis and pedis average. The place is beautiful, with a lounge and sauna downstairs. The atmosphere in the lounge (candles, wine, snacks- all free!) makes you feel like you own the place, and the focus is all on relaxation. We were never rushed- they even kept the place open late so we could finish drying our nails!! We had a wonderful time at Tribeca, and would definitely go back there! Ania, the massage therapist who worked on me had wonderful hands and seemed to love her work. She was sensitive to my needs and responded to suggestion. Too good to be a 'best kept secret'... 7/9/2009

I've been going to TBS for nine years, since it was originally ULA Day Spa. Though many good estheticians have come and gone over the years, many skilled specialists remain and offer real careful, quality services. From waxing, to facials, to massages, it's always a treat! My only criticism is that, at times when I'm looking forward to relaxing in the sauna before my scheduled treatment, I find it hasn't been turned on. Other than that, and a few glitches during the change of ownership, it's a lovely, quiet spa, which doesn't push unwanted products on you. Pros: everything Cons: very little more

Great Eyebrow Wax! 7/5/2009

Nadia is the best for eyebrow waxing and shaping! She is very gentle--and the wax they use at Tribeca Beauty Spa is painless. Nadia is very patient and meticulous; she makes sure your eyebrow shape is perfect and tweezes every stray hair! I highly recommend her and the spa in general! more

I just had a facial with Nadia and the experience was fantastic. The staff was kind, warm, and welcoming the moment I walked in the door. The spa was clean and comfortable as well and I would certainly come back again! No pressure from the staff to purchase any of the products which I thought was great-the last thing I want after a lovely spa visit is to be pressure to purchase products. I would definitely see Nadia for a facial-she is the best! more

The Fountain of Youth Facial 6/29/2009

What I really like about this spa is the knowledge of the Era, the esthetician I saw. I am very weary of letting other people touch my face, especially when it comes to extractions. Era's technique is magical. When she finished my facial, I looked five years younger, and this was just a basic facial! Wow! The complimentary wine, cookies, fruit, and tea topped off an already amazing experience! At Tribeca Beauty Spa you don't have to approach your next facial in fear of pain...Era is a whiz at what she does. Enjoy ladies! more

Located in Manhattan's TribBeca neighborhood, TriBeca Beauty Spa is situated on Harrison Street between Hudson and Greenwich Streets.
