Around the age of 18 months, my daughter developed sensitivities to various pollens, foods and particles in the air causing chronic congestion. Unfortunately, this lead to chronic ear infections and even temporary hearing loss. We treated her with antibiotics which took the infection away, but within 4-5 days of finishing a prescription, the ear infection(s) would reurn. A friend suggested I take her to a chiropractor, but I was very skeptical and didn't see what chiropractic had to do with ear infections, especially in a little kid. Several more months, (and ear infections) later, we were referred to an ENT specialist who recommended ear tubes. I liked the idea of draining her ears, but didn't want to expose her to the increased risk of infection if water got in during swimming or bathing, let alone the procdeure itsel. While we were debating whether or not to go forward with this procedure, another friend recommended chiropractic to treat ear infections. At this point, I was chiropractic to treat ear infections. At this point, I was getting desperate and decided to give it a try. Miraculously, her first adjustment provided some relief from the congestion. I took her several times per week for two weeks before her ears and sinuses completely drained. After that, I was able to take her in for preventative ""tune-ups"" about once per month. After 10 months of chronic ear infections, potent antibiotics and imminent surgery to implant drainage tubes, my daughter was finally healthy!! I am a strong believer in supporting the body to stay healthy and fight off disease. Dr Eastwood has really helped my daughter stay ear infection free for almost two years now.
