I have found Mr Urben, who happens to own Tri State Glass Block and wrote the rebuttal below in response to Janet's comments, to be confrontational and eager to insite trouble. In my opinion, he has some passive aggresive issues to work out in his attitude and dealings with the public at large. While my occasion to have interaction with Mr Urben was not directly related to his business practice, based on my experience this is certainly not a person with whom I would feel the least bit comfortable doing business. I did notice that in his rebuttal, Mr Urben did not identity himself as the owner or the person with whom Janet was dealing nor did he outline the steps he took to rectify the situation. That speaks volumes in and of itself. more

Great Company. Great Service. Its a shame people like Janet (Who is married to a competitor) uses places like this to lie. The fact that she starts her review off with HAHAHA, should tell you something. Glass Block Pro Started at Tri-State Glass Block 19 years ago in Hopewell, PA. When they expanded into Virginia and Maryland that Name no longer fit. So they filed a DBA as Glass Block Pro. Its all recorded with the PA Dept of State. Janet and her husband are just jealous because they work out of thier basement and could never grow a company to the size of Glass Block Pro. I had Tri State Glass Block due work on my rental property...I ended up having to call them back several times, I spoke with a gentlemen named , Jeff, who says he was the owner, says he would personally come out and take care of the horrible job they had done. After almost two months of calling them with no answer, I gave up! So, i decided to try another company for the rest of my rentals. I ended up calling Glass Block Pro and to my suprise the owner came out and his name is ""Jeff"" What a coincedence Tri State and Glass Block Pro both have a owner by the name ""Jeff"" Hmmm....i decided to look into this. After looking at the address of Tri State on my estimate sheet and comparing addresses to Glass Block Pro Once AGAIN to my suprise it is the same address, same owner, different name. Can't they decide who they are... After so much frustration i decided to call some one else ""Miller's Glass Block Windows"" was my next call. I am so pleased with them. They came out and actually fixed another companies mistakes. How nice is that? Needless to say i have decided to go with a company that has never changed there name. Also, they are highly recommended by alot of local contractors. My choice is ""Miller's Glass Block Windows"" more

I called Glass Block Pro because they have installed windows in three other homes on my street. The estimator was clear and did not pressure me to do anything. Just gave me the facts and let me decide. Installers were great. Cleaned up when they were finished and walked me around each window making sure I was satisified with everything. Great job guys! more
