Travis Ob/Gyn Associates

What just happened to me is so bad that I can't even give it a star (but had to in order to post this) Dr. Garza is now at Renaissance Women's Group. I have been going to him since 2009. In November he confirmed a condition for me and in January put me on clomid to help me ovulate. We are now expecting. I had my first visit with the nurse to just ""talk"". My first visit with Dr. Garza was at 9am, at 8:20 they called to let me know he had a surgery and wouldn't be in until later. I was late for work then had to leave work for my first visit. I got a bill for my global fees and called to request a discount. Finally the ""office manager"" called me back with attitude saying ""no discount"". Fine okay, so I voiced my concerns about their policy to notify patients of rescheduling. After 15 minutes she had me so upset that I told her she ruined my pregnancy and hung up. I received a certified letter today (10 days later) stating my doctor was terminating services due to my obvious unhappiness. Wow! Never, ever go there! more

I started seeing Dr Devin Garza in April of 2009, he was to deliver my daughter in November of 2009. He spent very little time getting to know me, didn't seem like he ever reviewed my charts before seeing me, prescribed medication that I was either allergic to or could not take while breastfeeding. He was nowhere to be found when I went into labor, and did not deliver my daughter. The only time I saw him was 36 hours after the delivery, and he poked his head in my room and said ""your good to go home"" without even examining me. I went to this doctor for my first pregnancy- naturally, my husband and I were extremely excited. However, Dr. Braunstein made every appointment miserable- she always made us feel stupid every time we had a question. She practically laughed at me on several occassions when I asked about certain pregnancy concerns. She was extremely cold and has no compassion for the first time parents- or any expecting mom for that matter. She showed more enthusiasm talking about her dogs than about my concerns. She shouldn't be practicing. Save yourself the disappointment and choose another doctor! Cons: both thumbs down more

My wife had a horrific experience with Travis OB/GYN. Without divulging the details of a specific experience, this is an incompetent office. I would NOT suggest using their practice for any medical procedure. Our personal information, including social security numbers were compromised and an a explanation or apology was never given. Unprofessional office staff and long delays in getting the information after a lab test was just the tip of the iceberg (we had to call them on every occasion to get the results they were supposed to provide). The final obstacle working with this office was trying to retrieve a copy of our records. Their policy was not conducive for getting a timely second opinion and both doctors we ended up using had problems getting information from Travis OB/GYN since they were MONTHS behind in scanning documents into their system.\r \r Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. Life is too short to have to deal with this kind of unnecessary frustration. \r Cons: Both thumbs down. Office staff was unprofessional and the doctors vacation took priority over providing the lab results were were promised and were anxiously awaiting. DO NOT recommend this office. more
