My husband and I finally were able to take our honeymoon, after 2 years. Originally, Marina planned our honeymoon for the month after we got married. She helped us choose Jamaica. However, my husband's career path changed and we ended up moving across the country. With the timing of the new job and the move we could not take our trip. Marina was so understanding and kind! I promised that when we were a bit more stable and could do so we would take the trip of our dreams and Marina would be our agent! Besides marrying the love of my life, using her as our agent was the best decision of my life! She set us up with a wonderful trip to Venice, Italy for a total of 5 nights and then a 7 night cruise to Italy, Greece, and Turkey. I have never traveled outside the country nor have I done a cruise. She made me feel confident that we would love the trip and we absolutely did. Not only did she give us that confidence to go and do this but she was timely and helped us stay within our budget. We won't use anyone but Marina! Pros: null Cons: null more

Trip to Costa Rica! 3/19/2012

I just got back from a trip to Costa Rica that Marina planned for my group of 22! She researched and presented various options of locations and resorts before we decided on the RIU in Cost Rica. We went through all kinds of decision factors, and she worked hard to keep the trip affordable for us. She planned our plane flights, resort reservations, and airport transportation, so we didn't have to worry about a thing! Marina is very pleasant to work with and did an amazing job coordinating such a large group of 22. She was always prompt with her correspondence and would even at times respond on weekends! Jamaica Trip 3/19/2012

Marina did a great job planning my group of 8's trip to Jamaica. She found us an affordable trip in a nice resort, including airfare and transportation to-and-from the resort and the airport. When we first checked into the resort, they claimed to be out of double queen rooms and put 4 of us in a king room. We can't say enough wonderful things about Marina. When 5 of us decided to find a tropical paradise to scuba dive, we asked Marina about Belize. Not only did she recommend the PERFECT accommodations, but she arranged all the tricky and sometimes confusing transfers to get to our hotel. Marina helped me with everything for our trip to Costa Rica. I have to say that this is my first time using a travel agent and it was nice to just tell someone what I wanted and have it happen! The hotels were great, her advice was great, and everything ran smoothly. Can't beat that. more

The best Travel Agent..... 3/30/2011

When I decided to take my kids on vacation I contacted Marina Byrum. WIthout question, she went above and beyond in helping me determine which hotel that fit my budget and located a hotel near our intended destination. When the hotel became difficult with the parking situation and we decided to stay elsewhere, Marina was available to help us solve the issue and move on to a better situation. In our case we had two families staying together and they would allow only one vehicle to park within 4 miles of our destination. With young children sleeping in the car, they wouldn't even allow us to park and unload. Hence our midnight move to new accomodations. I have recommended others to Marina and everyone has had glowing reviews about her and her services. You'd be a fool to plan your own vacation, not only will Marina get the best price, but frequently get un advertised perks and or upgrades not available to the internet shopper. And, if she can't, she simply tell you! But in my experience...that is rare! I also had her plan a hotel stay for a concert in Vegas at the last minute...She actually got me a hotel right at the Venue!....Keep up the good work Marina... more

Best Experience Ever! 3/17/2011

We love, love, love Marina! She is amazing! My fiance and I were having a difficult time deciding where to go for our honeymoon, so we contacted Marina. We shamelesslychanged our mind multiple times, had her change our rooms and our flights, and she was always there with a fast response no matter what time of day. She was incredibly patient and knowledgable. We really cannot say enough good things about her! She knew everything about our flights, connections, customs, hotel transportation, and the resorts themselves. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thanks, Marina! more

We recently went on our first cruise, arranged by Marina at CWT Vacations. Such a wonderful experience! We were not certain about all of the details and, whenever a question arose, I simply asked Marina and ALWAYS got a prompt, friendly and helpful response. Stay-Cation At Its Best! 10/19/2010

My girl friends and I are avid staycationers. We like to get together every few months in and around our homes in Texas. We each live in a different city so when we get together we like to leave our homes for the weekend and let someone else cook and clean. Recently I was introduced to Marina Byrum of Travel by Marina. I would have never thought to use a travel agent for a couple of nights in a hotel near my own home, you can just book that online right...WRONG! That's what we have been doing until I decided to give Marina a try. She was so quick, everything was planned in just a couple of hours (her time not mine) and IT WAS CHEAPER than going online, trust me I looked!!!! I will use Marina for every small and large vacation I book going forward. SO EASY! more

Newbie Cruisers had a GREAT time! 9/22/2010

Wow! We just had the most fabulous vacation! Marina was the BEST! She not only took care of all the travel details, but she was also very knowledgable about the excursions. She was very patient with all of my questions before the trip and always got right back with me if she did not have the answer, which most of the time she already knew the answer. We are already planning a trip to Alaska and we are definately letting Marina handle all the details!!! more

Tech savvy couple happy we decided on Marina 4/11/2010

We are very happy we decided to trust Marina to handle the details of our honeymoon trip. We normally research and purchase our rentals and airline tickets ourselves online, but for a special two-week trip we decided that we wanted a little help to get it right. We also wanted some support in case there were any surprises during our trip. We still did a lot of research so we knew what we wanted for the vacation (this probably made her job easier), but she executed her end flawlessly. She followed up, she was very useful and prompt, and she reduced the stress of our vacation planning process. When the airline said my wife and I couldn't sit together on one leg of the trip, Marina talked to them and worked it out. She gives full email summaries of anything you discuss. When we needed her help during the vacation, she came through for us, so she even helped reduce stress during the trip. We highly recommend her as a talented agent who's very easy to work with. Marina did everything! She made the process of the cruise smooth sailing! It made me feel like I was missing something, but nope! That was because Marina did it all!! Not to mention the cruise was AMAZING! If only we could go on a second honeymoon... hey, that's a thought! =) We will definitely use Marina for booking any other trips for us! First Cruise Made Easy 9/17/2009

Just wanted to let everyone know how much we enjoyed our Alaska cruise and shore trip and to thank you for all your help and expertise in making our first cruise a great memory. All of our accommodations were excellent. As you said, Princess does an exceptional job of planning and facilitating every aspect of the trip. We will definitely cruise again. The weather for all of our shore excursions was excellent and really displayed the beauty of Alaska especially with all of the fall colors and Mt McKinley on full display. Professional service with expert advise 9/8/2009

I just wanted to thank you Marina for all the extra effort you put into any trip. My son and I enjoyed the Yucatan and Cozumel Mexico greatly and I especially loved the Carnival staff. You were right on with everything you said about cruise and your helpful bargaining tips. The kids accommodations were superb, my son had no problem finding entertainment, as did I finding something more adult. I must do another one real soon. For someone like myself who's in the hospitality industry, I must say you give you top notch service with your main focus on value for your clients. Best family vacation thus far and I hope to continue with you for many more.
