Tranquility Skin Care

I have had two appointments at Tranquility Skin Care, and have left both visits highly impressed and 100% satisfied with the experience. I had not had a facial in about 10 years (had a very painful experience back then). I was a bit wary of making another attempt, but after getting a terrible sunburn a couple of months ago, wanted to make some changes and create a better skin care regimen. Heidie is absolutely amazing! She has a wealth of experience under her belt, and a great knowledge of her specialty - she was able to answer all my questions as well as provide me with information I didn't think to ask about. She is very skilled, and to my surprise, I have enjoyed both of my facials with her! Their products and services are wonderful - I am currently using Dermalogica and Yonka products. Heidie is great with product recommendations, gives you samples to try out, and there is no upselling of the products - just useful information about what is going to truly benefit your skin. The atmosphere of Tranquility Skin Care is inviting and relaxing. The location is in Buckhead, and is very convenient. Heidie and Susan are so friendly, both in person and over the phone, and are true professionals and masters of their trade. They are deserving of your business, and I highly recommend them if you want top-of-the-line skin care at a reasonable price! more

Honestly, I was a little turned off when I first entered. It is NOT a spa atmosphere. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing (maybe they're smarter than their competition). However, you do get great service and beware, the ladies are great saleswomen. more

I don't trust just anyone to work with my skin, but I found experience and knowledge at Tranquility. The specialty facial treatments have made an amazing difference in the texture and look of my skin. The microdermabrasion and peel were done with amazing comfort and skill. The Yonka products are first rate and everything is reasonably priced. I know these services at a larger spa would not have been done as well and would have cost twice as much. I'm a believer in the nescessity of caring for your skin and will strive to do everything Heidie has instructed to keep my skin looking great. Heidie and Susan are truly skin care experts. I have had many facials around Atlanta, especially the popular big name spas, but this takes the cake as far as great facials are concerned! Great price for a basic facial. My skin never felt and looked better coming out of a facial. I have come out of facials breaking out worse than when I went in but not the case here. I feel that Heidi was very attentive and was very helpful about tips with my skin care regimen. I have been facial hopping trying to find ""the place"" and I think I have found a facial home. She also gave me a nice and detailed brow wax. This is not a fancy place with theme rooms but it is clean, nice and friendly. Be warned, if you want a weekend appointment, book two months in advanced. I am glad to support an independent business with a focus on excellent skin care. This place is a must try! I have been going to Heidi for over 2 years now. She has completely transformed my skin. The prices are great because you can actually maintain a program and go once a month. The products are great as well and are never pushed on you. Heidi always gives me lots of samples to try before buying products so that I can make sure things work for me skin before I buy a large size of something. The best part is that I never leave looking blotchy or irritated. I always leave looking better than when I came in. The only downside is that Tranquility is so great that it is hard to get an appointment these days. :-) more

I go to Tranquility regularly and I'm always impressed. I've seen Heidi for brow waxes, facials and micro and have been thoroughly satisfied each time. Besides having great hands, she's very attentive to the needs of each client, the atmosphere is soothing and, although they will load you up with samples, they never try to push you to buy any product. I also like that it's just Heidi and Susan, so you get personalized service instead of being treated like a number. This is the best place in Atlanta for a facial! For $50 (not including tip) my facial lasted over an hour. I scheduled a facial with Heid after hearing all the positve buzz. For $60 I got a 2 hour facial as well as foot reflex treatment. She really took the time to be thorough-something many spas lack. She also loaded me up with samples which I am going back to purchase on my next visit. Thumbs way up to this well-trained positve esthetician who really knows her skin.
