Very caring and Supportive 6/30/2010

During the last two year I have had the opportunity to work with Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home; three times, in all cases the staff and funeral directors were caring and supportive. They fulfilled all of my requests, no matter how crazy it was, and were there for me and my family at every turn. The review written above cannot be any further from the truth. Frank and Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been there for me and my family for many years, and will continue to be the funeral home of choice for the my family. Pros: Very Caring more

WORST FUNERAL HOME EXPERIENCE 12/11/2008

We had the worse funeral home experience with Toomey-O'Brien. Frank, the owner threated to leave my grandmother's body at the airport if we did not come up with cash or credit card the day before the funeral. The Director of Toomey's told us one thing and Frank called and saod something completely different. It was supposed to be a closed casket. Toomey's took it upon themselves to present it as open which was completely against my grandmother's wishes. Frank was horrible to work with and had no compassion for our loss. We had no issue paying a deposit or amount due however policies were not communicated properly and the owner was not a service professional. more
